Sporting Options Charter

Gave them a call as had heard they where doing a charter trip for the game and on verge of booking our flights..

Called back to say that seats for plane they could get would be £1000 each so at this time had decided against it due to the cost of planes.

Cant see many going on this trip. Perhaps 500 at the most.

Doubt there will be many (if any) charters and it is difficult to get to. Hopefully I am wrong though.

Think 800-1,100'ish is a fair guess.

You will have round about 300ish (?) going on the WESTA charter, Turkish Airlines seems to be filling up, plus you have routes via Kyiv and Riga as well as other places in Europe.

Also depends on the results against Ireland.... defeat to them and can see numbers starting to stall on this one, with people who would have went that are yet to book maybe thing Gibraltar/Faro being more appealing.

I'll be on the WESTA charter hopefully.

Failing that it's going to be a mad scramble to book flights etc, can see it being a bit of a nightmare tbh but will be looking at the routes others have planned & posted on here to help!

TBH prices seem to be almost half of what they were in 2007 and there seem to be about 10x the number of options to get there (IIRC last time via London, Riga and KLM were about the only viable options - though there was more options to be found, but seems to be Turkish Airlines is making all the difference this time)

Hi Tom, hope to see you on the WESTA charter.

I was speaking to the organisers and they are cautiously confident that this trip will happen. Fingers and toes crosssed.
