  1. For all those slating Strachan , perhaps your energies might be better directed at the clowns in charge , who lets face employed him ...REGAN and Co . Possibly the biggest collection of incompetents ever to be given the title of "The Board" For my money Strachan should be staying. NONE of the possible replacements so far named are of any use whatsoever . And I sure as don't want that Lennon !! !
  2. If Strachan is to go then so should that clown Regan and his board. How long have they been in the job and what exactly have they done ? The correct answers are : A) too long! and B ) Absolutely bugger all ! Sling yer hook Regan and take your useless incompetent cronies with you.
  3. I can honestly say I would have no hesitation in saying No ...........or words to that effect .
  4. Always preferred women with a few curves as opposed to those bloody stick insects one sees paraded on catwalks. Like refugees from Belsen! That said there is a limit and the BBW thing is just an excuse to make the hippocrocapigs feel better about themselves.!
  5. Just watched it on highlights , defo a foul !
  6. We were way too slow off the mark . We gave away possession far too often and easily . 4 corners in 20 mins(?) and not even a decent attempt on goal from them. On the positive side given the talent England have on the park we didn't do too badly . The difference in class is massive. I thoight Gordon had some good saves but the header out and getting caught off his line were scary ! We are always moaning that the luck never seems to go our way , but to be given TWO free kicks in as many minutes AND to score from both was dreamland stuff To then give it away again defies logic . Still we didn't lose AND we are still in it ...........just .
  7. Just to clarify , I don't believe in the medium thing nor seances or these ludicrous ghost hunting programmes etc . However I've had too many "experiences " of weird shit over the years to just dismiss the "supernatural" out of hand . One other stands out , whilst in The Gulf again in 90/91 I used to sleep on top of our vehicle. (Got some stunning night skies to go to sleep by) However the night the Air war started (16th Jan) I dreamt my mother was desperately trying to wake me ... I could literally feel her shaking me and hear her voice. I woke up suddenly (Managed to get myself hooked up in the cam net, shat myself, then looked around everybody was in NBC kit I jumped down and got my kit on thinking it must have been the guys voices I had heard .....until one of them saId....... " Oh I forgot you were up there !"
  8. My mother had it. She told us after my brother's death that se had known for many years she was going to lose one of her sons. When I asked her how she just said she'd "seen" it in her minds eye as it were. She also said if she'd let it continue she would have known which one it was to be but she stopped "it" before it got that far. She confessed she always thought it would be me because of the stuff I did , she was up to high doe when I went to the Gulf , then came back and went to N.I . It was while I was in NI we lost my brother . The postscript to this is she maintains he came to see her weeks after his death and spoke to her saying "Mum I have to go now ,you need to stop this and move on" (Both my parents never really recovered from his death) You can believe this or not but I can add to this , my experience ... I went back t NI after his funeral , I was due out on a task in the wee small hours and had gone to bed early , I was suddenly awake and felt there was someone in my bunk, I turned over thinking it was my oppo come to wake me for the task , as I looked round I saw my brother standing there clear as day I looked again and he was gone ............ I would have dismissed it as a dream other than the "feeling " of him being there. I was physically shaking . Make of it what you will but it's 100% fact.
  9. Treacherous wee hoor . Hope she stays south of the border post Independence.
  10. I'm happy to look at any war we have been involved in : PROVIDED BOTH SIDES are subjected to the same scrutiny.
  11. And like most you would refrain from doing so because you would be in the right frame of mind , or as right as one can be at that point. Al Blackman however was not . He was on his 6th tour, had been involved in some of the most brutal fighting the British Forces have undertaken since WW2. He was left out on his own in an FOB with precious little support from higher echelon, bearing the responsibility for the lives of the guys under his command on a daily basis 24 hours a day. No senior officer had visited the location during that time. The man was failed by his chain of command and by the justice system .
  12. Why stop there , let s have a look at the Boer War too ...we can dig up any miscreant and drag them before a court full of people who have probably never heard of the Boer War for judgement . But we'll just give all the Boers free pardons and immunity from prosecution, you know like we did for PIRA ......
  13. No they thought the blast and shrapnel would magically pass over them. How many military were actually in those pubs do you think compared to civilians ?
