Fairbairn
Seems to be handling the pressure well. If he spoke to someone like that in most other walks of life he'd have left that presser with a sore jaw. Khana Lagur
Hope his team go down. Probably one of the most objectionable managers in the game. But I suppose as someone who fancies himself as England's hardest man he'll think he can get away with lacking decency.

Sadly that standard passes for quality journalism these days.

Should've been sacked after telling a fan to "feck off and die". Then again after assaulting James McArthur.
Jagtag
Personally I'd rather see Villa go down as Sherwood is an even bigger t!t.
Fairbairn
On the other hand the journo was being a tit as it was an incredibly stupid and banal question. Sadly that standard passes for quality journalism these days. Was it really? He asked him to explain specifically what he was talking about as opposed to him just chucking out a generic line about criticism which reeked of paranoia. I think the journo was perfectly entitled to ask the question and expect a rational answer.

DaveyDenoon
What did the journalist ask? I can barely hear what he says.Pearson was going on about the "constant recent criticism" he and his players wer receiving. The journo asked - specifically what criticism are you referring to? To which I think he was entitled to expect an answer.Instead he got humiliated by an utter bawbag for no good reason. What a tube, can't believe he kept his job after the McArthur incident. Hope his team win on saturday though, got them on the coupon. I hadn't really seen or heard much of him before this season but he's an @rse of a man. Seems to love playing the hard man.

tartandon
He's just a bully boy. Roll on relegation and I hope his team do badly at the start of next season. After some of his behaviour towards people this season, I hope his P45 is not too far away. If he had belittled staff and customers in this manner in any other profession, he would have been sacked by now.

Jaggy Jim
Always had a bit of a soft spot for Leicester but Pearson's got me wanting them relegated now. He really fancies himself as a hard man and his attitude in most interviews has got worse and worse as the season has gone on.
EIFA10
Nice grilling by Pat Murphy in my opinion. Pearson sits there like the surly child that he is. http://bbc.in/1bZfiQ6

Boynze
pearson made a fool of himself and was out or order in the first interview the other night, but he was spot on with the beeb journo, he was just pressing for a climb down from pearson or for him to get angry again. "when did you decide to apologise to the reporter"? wft? who cares about that. to me this is a reporter trying to create a story out of nothing "you have a charge sheet developing" says who exactly? just because pearson does not give the press what they want they turn on him. he was quite right to not answer some of the questions put to him in the beeb interview. John_B81
Pearson deserved his criticism for the way he handled the reporter post Chelsea. Having said that, thought he did well to stay calm when it was clear the BBC guy was out to make a fool out of him.

Pearson is quite clerly a child and not a very bright one at that. He answers most quesitons with "have you/would you?" etc. This interview may just be enough to change Pearson in front of the press though. You could see how uncomfortable he was and laterly the penny looked like it was beginning to drop - he finally realised what he did was bang out of order. I think Pearson might just have a different tune with the press now..... That's what Murphy was there to try and achieve, not to get a rise....
