In fairness, the "Yestiny" stuff should be beneath the Sunday Herald. Major cringe.

When I first saw a friend sharing the cover I jokingly posted "If only all press was as non partisan as The National, the world would be a much fairer place"... I just saw the headline and didn't consider it would have been the Herald. I assumed it was just another embarrassing National front page.

Ach. Why did calmac man post the email revealing all about khraeigh in a different thread and the link now doesn't work boo!

Hang on until page 63 when the guy itoldallthelies makes an appearance with a lengthy post. Doesn't explain everything but gives a few insights. Read the whole thing yesterday as once I'd started... Truly fascinating and weird/ingenious. The Hibby jumping out of the plane was the best bit. That could've ended sooo badly!

Yup, I've bemoaned this before. That second thread is an essential part of the story but it was never added to the archive. I only vaguely remember the thread's contents, but it basically ended in hugs.

Ach you really missed out there!

Yup, I'm actually quite gutted about it!

One comment I noticed on the thread was someone mentioning a guy who died pretty young called Marc (who was also known as Mr Shangalang).

Was he called Marc Karapiet? (sp) ...The links to the photos weren't available.

Did you know him?

Marc was an ex-boyfriend of one of my older sisters who was studying in Aberdeen(Gray's Art School)at the time. I only knew Marc when I was a wee guy. 7/8 years of age.

My sister was in contact with him again(2002/03ish)and she mentioned to me that he was doing a lot of TA stuff.

Then he died...My sister was in contact with his Mum in Glasgow afterwards(they were close when they dated).

My sister seen pics of him online with Ally MacLeod(maybe?)...Every link to that seems to be gone now.

I met him a few times but didn't know him that well. I remember the photos.

That's an insane thread! Just spend a couple of hours reading through it. This was two years before I joined the board so all this is new to me.

Cheers for sharing :ok:

Just read it myself, what a story! It should be made into a novel.
