But then it puts us in a fight with germany for second. A tough ask. An Ireland win keeps it very tight. Ideally a point or more in Dublin and home win v Poland is a must (as is 12 points v Georgia/Gib as everyone else will). And if England can knock a couple past them in the week before whilst we hit 5 v quatar at Easter Rd or wherever and we should therefore have the more confidence going in to the ireland game. Either we go toe-to-toe with Poles for second and automatic qualification or we slip into second place in a four horse race for the top three places. I suppose a draw sees only two points given out. So, it's a win, win, win situation for us. As long as we beat Gibraltar of course. In which case it will be a win, win, win, win situation.
