  1. Lads any republic of Ireland tickets spare, I'd gladly give them a good home. ? Genuine fan, face value only. Pm me if available. Thks
  2. Hehe thks for the offer parklife, I no your messing about, but hate touts
  3. I'm looking for a few Rep of Ireland tickets, I no the draw is on the 12th so after that obviously. Genuine fan gone to 3 aways this time, plus playoffs in Zenica. Our ticketing system is fecked, so it's gonna be a scramble. The portal is a disaster, from personal experience. So keep me in mind if any going. Sound
  4. Looking to swap a ticket for the Scotland v Ireland match. I've a Jock Stein upper, looking for a Lisbon Lions end ticket. Probably to late for postage, but I'll be in Glasgow from early Friday.
  5. I'd say 10k irish. Loads from the north going as it's so handy, I'd estimate 500 from Derry alone. Figure in the official 3209, there was 10k plus applications, the Irish in Scotland, and thanks to the sfa, basically anyone who wanted a ticket got one. So happy days, sure to be a great night.
  6. Of course Celtic Park isn't our spiritual home, whatever that is, but it is home to the Irish in Scotland.
  7. My bad it was Bingham. Was the first time, and maybe last time any sectarian singing was aimed at us. I think it left a deep wound. I agree there was shock that they didn't want us to qualify, that's why it became them and us afterwards.
  8. No doubt alot of nationalist people used to support N.I, especially when they were doing well. That night in Windsor 1993, a W.C qualifier changed everything in Irish football. Beforehand Hamilton called the ROI mercenaries, and he really stirred up the pot. I was at that game, and the way we were treated was disgraceful. You could feel the hatred coming from the N.I fans. Really spiteful, booed our anthem and the players played up to it. Of course we drew and went to USA,but that evening a line was drawn in the sand, a them and us feeling. The troubles were going on at the time and I think alot of people from the south realised how bad it was. Mad how sport can influence politics.
