neilser
Meantime the biggest hero of mine that I've met or had dealings with was Willie Miller. It was in connection with my work several years back - I'd known there was a chance I'd need to speak to him and eventually the call came through: 'That's Willie Miller on the phone for you Neil'. Had to take several deep breaths to hold myself together for the brief call. Have met several other Aberdeen greats over the years but that was the best moment. Had to take several deep breaths to hold myself together for the brief call. Have met several other Aberdeen greats over the years but that was the best moment. I saw Willie Miller in Tiger Tiger and got wee bit excited and as my friends hadn't a clue who he was I said "It's Willie Miller from Aberdeen." By the time it was passed back it was, 'Willie Millie my pal from Aberdeen.' Served Alex McLeish when I worked in Princess Square and when I tried to explain why I was grinning like a haddy it was like a scene from the Exorcist and another voice, a horrid wee neddy Glaswegian's voice in fact, came out my mouth. He replied and to this day I have no idea what he said as I was too busy dying inside. I'd probably wet myself if I met Bruce.
Stapes
My stomach just turned upside doon. Thought he was deid. Watch out for him in Lilyhammer - playing Steve Van Zandt's brother?? Btw, I've met and spoken to several people who are/were very close to Springsteen and I've still to hear a bad word said about him.

the Sunnylaw Jag
I'm a big fan of Bruce but anytime I see him on a documentary or interview he always seems such a prat. It's not that he across as too arrogant but maybe just a bit anal.

the Sunnylaw Jag
Honestly, Sunnylaw. One of the nicest guys you'd meet. Of that I've no doubt. Anyway I saw in the Radio Times that Dermot O'Leary made a bit of a prat of himself the other week claiming that 'Meeting Across the River' was one of his favourite songs and then credited it to the 'Wild, Innocent and the E.Street Shuffle' album instead of 'Born To Run' Also on a Bruce topic, did anyone else like the Patty Scialfa album 'Rumbledoll' which came out in the early 90's? giblet
Met Kathy Lloyd and Jo Guest at a service station south of Nottingham. Was during an epic euro 96 road trip and remains one of the top "following Scotland" moments for me and my mate.
