The Kraeigh story unraveled cause of weekend bender at Pistonbrokes, although the untold story of that whole story was how much of a gigantic internet creeper Calmac-man was :-)) :-)) :ok:

All false accusations of said weekender !

I think it's better than it was. There used to be a real 'hierarchy' who had the opinion that if you didn't post 10 times a day then your opinion wasn't valid. To some extent that still exists but it's less noticeable.

It is such a great tool for arranging buses for away games, discussing football/political/social maters and most importantly raising money for charity.

There is no way this has outlived it's purpose...I don't think it ever could.

VIVA LA TAMB!

You guys must be new, cause Jimbers Bus-Stop girl thread is the best thread i've ever seen on the internet. Also his TAMB story one was good too.

...ok:

Jimbers and the lassie from the bus station would have swept the board at the Internet oscars that year if there was such a thing, it was terrific. Theres a guy who always gave good value.

Theres been a big slide into partisan political debate the last couple of years but lets face it, thats only reflecting what is going on in the real world of Scotland face to face with yer real three dimensional pals.

not sure how much actual 'debate' as only likely a handful of pro-unionist posters ; lots on the nationalist brainwashing agenda = everything british is evil etc

You guys must be new, cause Jimbers Bus-Stop girl thread is the best thread i've ever seen on the internet:

I know you like your boxing and think the charlie zelenoff internet sensation would have 1st round ko'd jimbers.

I can briefly summarise.

Russian/american wigger wannabe pro boxer with meth addiction. Calls out everyone. Doesn't like getting hit and eventually fights for the trailer park world title where he is beaten/ disqualified i n the first round by a guy called andrew hartley whose record was 1-31 or 0-31.

talks shit to an dingwall born aussie who flys to america and chaps his mums door.

Attacks floyd mayweather senior in the ring, is put in prison.

Been on numerous forums and thousands of you tube videos calling out the klit brothers and everyone else.

I was green lighted by him and am still waiting for his friends in the russian mafia to kill me despite me giving him my address.

I've been on here since about 2006 I think - its one of my favourite sites, and I will put my hand up and say I have never, for my sins, ever been to 1 Scotland game and I'm 45. It's on the bucket list.

I have actually burst out laughing hysterically on a train, in the office, and at home while reading some of the posts and the banter.

My Favourite post was the one about Amsterdam Ladies of the Night some years back, and the protocols of timing the encounter. Comedy Gold.

I wish I could find it.

I like the diversity of topics discussed - I'm in Australia now and wouldn't have found out about the new This is England series - and I'm just about to watch the final part now.

Also had a great laugh last night when someone posted the link to Still Games songs - "Backstairs Lavvy" :-)):-)):-)):-)):-))

Through the TAMB, I've managed to meet numerous folk, some of which are now friends, the remainder enjoyable drinking acquaintances and some whose offline personalities are amusingly different from their online personas. This therefore leads to amusing little in-jokes to myself when they pretend to be keyboard warriors and hard men when, in reality, they wouldn't say boo to a goose.

On here kicked the bucket when too many posters started taking it seriously and believing their Internet character was a real hard man, and not a keyboard warrior. It used to be a random forum, with diverse character. Now you can't get through a single first page of a thread without a mention of rangers or the snp. It's boring and predictable. needs better moderation to call folk out on talking shite, but I imagine most of the mods are sick fed up, and treat moderating responsibilities the same as still feeding a 17 year old blind collie dug that pishes the floor each day, but still remember it as a fun puppy too much to just take it to the vets and put it down.

The taking my name outside of this forum to insult a board members daughter was when my strong interest in here died. That's when I knew too many posters lacked a real life that they resorted to such sad wee acts to get their morning stiffy. Whoever the sad was, how awful for that lassie must that have been reading that, and her pals and family reading that? Absolutely pathetic.

These days I will pop on once a week if bored to see if there's any stories I have missed elsewhere. Getting rarer to find anything worth browsing for.

Rip the tamb. Maybe not today, but the electric meter is running low and the life support machines making weird noises.

People come and go, it's the way of things. There have always been plenty of roasters on here, but there does honestly seem to be a higher proportion of them recently. That, combined with a handful of trolls being allowed to do their hilarious stuff unchecked, has spoiled it a bit for me, but it still has a place.

Does this navel gazing thread provide evidence that the TAMB has become sentient in its own hive-mind right?

As for folk essentially saying I don't come on here anymore cos it's rubbish. Well the fact you've posted proves yer talking pish.

Also if you think it's dead then you possibly have too big a ticket for yourself. It may have changed and you may not like it but that doesn't mean it's dead or dying.
