If it means not the brightest and you're describing her that way then one can only feel sorry for the poor lassie. Now if I didn't know about music I reckon I'd be more likely to know who Bobby Gillespie is as opposed to the bass player from a band. So quite strange that she would randomly guess at the latter. Also, if Bobby Gillespie was in the Horseshoe I reckon about 99% of the punters in there would have known who he is and were talking about him. So this "doopy girl" "from your work" really is a special case. Someone who isn't very clever and makes stuff up, in fact. Reminds me of someone but I can't quite think who. Well the old couple in the Daily Record the next day didn't have a clue who he was when they gave a interview about some "rock star" just walking up to them in Central Station and handing over tickets to the gig to them....... As for the girl in my work, she didn't last long as management gave her the bullet not long after because of how bad she was at her work.
