Actually, just looking at the timings, would never made it. Düsseldorf airport to Cologne hotel, dump gear then train to Dortmund. Will just hang out with the TA in Cologne. J

That’s annoying, now sold out. Could have gone to that, although staying in Cologne could have got to Dortmund on the free train.

Interesting conundrum. would it go to the next point level that was unsuccessful or start again at the top and work down? J

Games against NI bring out the absolute dregs to the games. Always a terrible atmosphere. Don’t know why we play them unless we are drawn with them in qualifying. J

Our record at tournaments isn’t exactly stellar either. Good wins vs Gibraltar and the Finns is required. J

Having had some scorchers recently I’ve taken to leaving the kilt at home Oslo Cyprus Seville (And the Rugby World Cup in Marseilles, Nice and Lille) That said, it’s a tournament so need to go balls out (literally) and wear the kilt. I’ll take with but only wear on match days. Shorts every other day. Fingers crossed for wall to wall sunshine. J

I chose seats on my Euro 24 Ice train. I went first class though. Wonder if that’s the difference? it was dirt cheap on our train Düsseldorf to Stuttgart on the Saturday before our game. J

€900 per ticket! Do you get a free bar with that? Surely at least a programme, pie & teamsheet? J
