  1. My suggestion is we use the thread for what it is intend for instead of folk jumping on to tell us how much they hate it when they find someone in their seat and how they are gonna throw a tantrum if they do.
  2. That's completely different. I don't think anyone would tolerate such behavior. I also don't recall entering a stadium, Hampden or otherwise, and being confronted by a group in my ticket row either though. You've described your allocated seat as "my seat" like 4 times in this thread already. It's not your seat at Hampden/Dens park/Alianz Arena or wherever else you end up even if you've purchased a season ticket. Half the time it doesn't even belong to the club/national side who play there never mind the paying punters. You and the rest of the my seat brigade are the biggest part of the problem when it comes to the OP and others finding a solution to what appears is going to be an issue for many.
  3. It's fine us adults sorted it. What about the OP? Are you suggesting he just goes to UEFA and they sit two different category tickets together? Or could we not all just behave like adults and help each other out?
  4. Match ticket holders are entitled to a 36 Hour Travel Pass across the entire MVV (Münchner Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund) network at no additional cost. The pass is valid from 06:00 on matchday until 18:00 the following day. https://www.uefa.com/euro2024/event-guide/munich/travel/
  5. It's not city to city but UEFA website has full info. You'll need to pay public transport for a portion of the trip but not all.
  6. Same for us, I'd like things booked in advance as I seem to have found myself as planner for a group of 7 including kids. We arrive Frankfurt 2100 and want to get straight Cologne. Is there any sites etc taking bookings yet or if not when?
  7. So at Hampden yesterday with my 11 year old son whos sat in A3 and I'm in A5 how do you suggest he sits on his allocated seat "like an adult" when he's 100 seats along and 20 rows down from his guardian? Was it not better he stood with me in A5 and the "adults" around me let me got on with enjoying the game with my son? The OP has the same issue and is trying to rectify it in advance.
  8. Yeah after making an a*se of my original thinking process figured it's best to just pick a whole matchday. Think your best bet is to be ready for the UEFA ticket process commencing on Oct 3rd. I'll bid for a few matchday two games.
  9. Correct and I've never said they would. Teams 6-11 will be in any group position 2. Why I originally said Hamburg are the only venue on match day 2 who host 2 such games.
  10. Article 12 Competition stages and seeding 12.01 Matches in all stages of the competition are played in conformity with the IFAB Laws of the Game. The half-time interval lasts 15 minutes. 12.02 The competition stages are as follows: Qualifying competition (European Qualifiers), composed of: group stage; play-offs. Final tournament (UEFA EURO 2024), composed of: group stage; knockout stage. 12.03 The team of the final tournament host association, Germany, qualifies automatically for the final tournament. The remaining teams are drawn into ten groups of five and six teams. 12.04 For the qualifying group stage draw, the UEFA administration seeds the teams in accordance with their results in the latest edition of the UEFA Nations League. 12.05 For the final tournament draw, the UEFA administration seeds the teams in accordance with their results in the qualifying group stage. The team of the host association, Germany, is seeded in pot 1.
  11. Yeah that's it. The planner is decent for taking an educated guess if used in conjunction with the seeding format. To be pot one you need to be one of the teams within the top 5 points totals in qualifying. That's possible but it's not an easy task. We'd need two wins and a draw minimum from our last four.
  12. Thats not how it reads this year based on the listings here under overall ranking. Teams 1st to 5th will be pot 1 along with Germany already allocated to Group A team 1. Teams 6th to 11th pot 2 and so forth. The exception being pot 4 which the playoff winners enter the last three spots. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_Euro_2024_qualifying
  13. They'll be loads trying to beat the rush just now.
  14. We are £1410 for 9 nights hire for a 7 berth from Goexplorescotland including insurance. However they have a damage deposit of £1500 at time of hire. They still have a few you can hire and initial deposit is £200.
  15. Pretty much got my money on us being pot 2 We've already paid the deposit on campervan hire for 7 from the 17th until 26th. We'll drive on the 18th and should arrive in Cologne for midnight. There's three games the following day, one is in Cologne and were in the middle of any drive needed to the other two venues at Frankfurt and Hamburg. Plan to move about depending on what tickets we have as were there for all of match day two and half of three so might strike it lucky and make two Scotland games. Start heading back home on the 25th.
