weekevie04
There's nothing between the squads. Even if ours hasn't been released yet. It'll be a tight game. All this crowing about players, squads could well bite us on the arse like it did with Wales a few years ago.

Tartan blood
Just for fun Craig Gordon (Celtic) Alan McGregor (Hull) David Marshall (Cardiff) Matt Gilks (Burnley) Phil Bardsley (Stoke) Alan Hutton (Aston Villa) Steven Whittaker (Norwich City) Russell Martin (Norwich City) Grant Hanley (Blackburn Rovers) Gordon Greer (Brighton) Mark Reynolds (Aberdeen) Andrew Robertson (Hull City) Craig Forsyth (Derby County) Charlie Mulgrew (Celtic) Barry Douglas (Lech Poznan) Darren Fletcher (Manchester United) Charlie Adam (Stoke City) Scott Brown (Celtic) James Morrison (WBA) Graham Dorrans (WBA) Liam Bridcutt (Sunderland) James MacArthur (Crystal Palace) Craig Bryson (Derby County) Barry Bannan (Crystal Palace) Ikechi Anya (Watford) Shaun Maloney (Wigan) Robert Snodgrass (Hull City) James Forrest (Celtic) Callum McGregor (Celtic) Ryan Gauld (Sporting Lisbon) Stuart Armstrong (Dundee United) Tom Cairney (Blackburn) Steven Naismith (Everton) Steven Fletcher (Sunderland) Jordan Rhodes (Blackburn) Leigh Griffiths (Celtic) Ross McCormack (Fulham) Johnny Russell (Derby) Chris Martin (Derby) Steven May (Sheffield Wednesday) Tony Watt (Standard Liege) The above Is all players id expect and like to see in squads. I suspect Scott Allan and a few other young lads at Hibs/Hearts to be in there in a few years too. I've highlighted the ones that i expect/hope will be integral and heavily involved over the next 4-6 years as we continue to evolve and get stronger and stronger. As some of our veterans get older and the fringe youngsters develop, i think we will start to see a very different team in the next 5 years. (We are clearly sorted in the Goalkeeper department, though) But i'd add Ryan Fraser and GMS to the list. GMS's Scotland career will hinge on his next move being a good one. Hopefully he is back in the squad in the next 12-18 months. I'd like to see him and Bannan going to Spain or Portugal.

Pound for pound I think they're evenly matched, but regardless of that, I don't think it makes a difference. This will be more like a club match, so the result is anyone's guess. I do think Scotland's counter attacking style which worked so well against Germany and Poland will be less effective against us. I genuinely can't call this one. girvanTA
This could either end up 3-3 or 0-0. Its just going to be one of these games

I genuinely can't call this one. In most departments both teams are evenly matched, but I think Scotland have the edge when it comes to passing the ball. Away from home against Poland, according to the BBC, Scotland had greater possession - 55%-45%. If Scotland can take the lead that should give us the edge. My prediction is, if Scotland can get in front against Ireland, Scotland will win. I'm going with 2-1 Scotland.
