Rossy
Fully agree we should be playing league games not a jolly abroad but to say we 'thought the league would be over' is just your typical pile of hearsay pish that gets trotted out on here time after time. Maybe you're right. You all believed that the league was over when Celtic took their last arrogant, money spinning jolly 2 weeks into August. Kittymeister
I really hope that this wee jolly means that Celtic miss out on the lucrative Champions League next season.
northernscum
I really hope that this wee jolly means that Celtic miss out on the lucrative Champions League next season. Not so much hoping that Celtic miss out for me, more hoping that the CL money is distributed to a different Scottish club for once! It has to be good for our game in the long run. Could you imagine what a CL group stage payment package would do for any other club than Celtic?

Shouldn't really surprise me to see folk posting it. You didn't think you would win the League easily this year? Fair enough if not mate but you are certainly in the minority, I don't think you could deny that? And I don't even only include Celtic fans in that. I said before a ball was kicked it would be by 20+ points. Not even the most ardent of Dons fans could have predicted the run they are on just now. Rossy
. Also Ron said he is interested in signing players from the national team and says the Norwegian league is much harder than the Scottish league claiming that if Stromgodset played at 80% they would lose 5-0. Considering his team has dropped so many points and isn't top of the league that is crazy talk. Fact is, Delia's a small time manager with a small time mentality......but, Victim FC fans have been used to years of undiluted dovers from old popcorn teeth, so Delia has got to do something to keep them happy. Hence his daft utterances and bizarre celebrations when his underperforming team scrape past Killie or St Mirren. But he's not very good at it. He reminds me of Zach Galifianakis in The Campaign.....'you don;t know how to trash talk, do you' ?

northernscum
We've got the best squad? Oh,....... right. Even though quite a few of them don't seem to know what they are supposed to be doing? (Along with the manager) You may well still win the league, but i am mystified as to where the confidence stems from going by the season so far. A wee bit of sunshine can only have limited effect after all!
Scotty CTA
Fully agree we should be playing league games not a jolly abroad... Exactly. If Celtic knew that they would be 4 points off the leaders at this time of the year then they would have never agreed to it.

wembley67lisbon
Think it means if Stromgodset play at 80% in their own league they would lose heavily, whereas if Celtic play at 80% they win more often than not in the Scottish premiership. Like the OP says though, bit of a hard neck when they are having one of their worst seasons for ages! Sorry what? Top of the league, and in 3 other competitions. Oh ronnie ronnie! Fred_Zeppelin
Just a bit early yet for the Canaries to start chirping Away from home, playing on a shite pitch against a shite team with 25 men behind the ball, get nothing from the ref, still win 1-0. The mark of champions.
northernscum
Sorry what? Top of the league, and in 3 other competitions. Oh ronnie ronnie! Hasn't taken long for the Celtic fans to start appearing from behind the sofas now that you have had a couple of wins in a row. Still plenty of worrying times ahead for your all conquering squad before the title is secured. All in all it's a decent season so far from the viewpoint of a few clubs. Scotty CTA
Oh sorry, you meant the 25 men part was pish? Agreed. Disappointing performance from the 'champions' against the cellar dwellers. (I'm going to assume that the teams used the same pitch.)
