Given the results in the Euros so far, maybe the gulf between the so called "lesser nations" and the "big boys" isn't as much as we think it is. While admittedly, occasionally being downright crap, Scotland has given a number of the teams represented a run for their money over the last year or two. Perhaps it's time we stopped being so negative and denigrating ourselves, and instead try and have a more positive outlook and some self belief. Couldn't do any harm??

Planned on making Malta in September a weeks holiday but the price for a package deal shot up by £300 for the week the footie is on!! Booked for a week in May instead. Apart from all the other pros and cons, Strachan has said he plans on giving a number of fringe players a try out. Not a bad thing in my opinion.

Agree with 'Wellyman'. High balls from set pieces are our biggest worry. Control that and the game is ours for the taking. I know we are not exactly world beaters, but didn't think Ireland were any great shakes when we beat them at home IMO.
