Davis Cup In Glasgow

For early March it`s got to be indoor. Elsewhere in Europe where sports like basketball are popular it`s probably easy to find indoor venues with capacities of between 4000 and 10000 but in Scotland , England or Wales it may not be so easy without spending a lot on building a court in a concert venue.

Gonna be in the Emirates Arena, building a court for said event with over 7k capacity - all there in the Toepoke post :wink2:

Shame they don't think they could sell out the Hydro. It'd be perfect for tennis - but I can't see them selling 10,000+ for the Davis Cup. Would love to be proved wrong though.

As with football, we suffer by not having slightly bigger venues (in football Easter Road and Pittodrie not big enough for big cup semis or Scotland qualifiers against medium teams (assuming Hampden is used ).against bigger teams)
