McVinceSCT
Hi guys, following the "would you take a draw" debate we had for the game in Ireland, i thought it would be interesting to have the same for the Georgia game. It looks like some people are affraid to lose, and some others are confident we'll win, but nobody's really speaking about a draw. So, would you take a draw right now? John_B81
No, only a win will do!
Dalgety Bay TA
No. I wouldn't take a draw now or at the time of the game. Ireland won there, Poland won there. Georgia are currently ranked in the bottom 5 in Europe. We have to be matching our rivals points there, we must take 3 points.
wanderer
No, need to win..... anything less than that brings the Irish back into the fold for the 3rd place spot (at the minute I feel we have the fall back of the head-to-head in our favor, but I would not want to rely on that.... especially if we get beat by Germany and Poland)
binobear
No - all our rivals have taken 3 points there, so must we !
kmcca5
No, we need a win. 100% WE NEED A WIN!!!!!
radian_13
Oh god no never would I accept a draw from a poy 5 or pot 6 team, that would def be 2points lost as the other 3 won there. Sorry but to even think of qualifying you need 6 points from teams of Georgias level. We'd need to beat Poland and Germany if we didn't win!! Angus_Young
I would be amazed if any Scotland fan said they would take a draw. only a victory will do here.
Fairbairn
After dropping 2 points against the Irish, absolutely not. As someone else pointed out, if Ireland and Poland can win there then there is no reason why we can't.
McVinceSCT
I agree with you all. Great to see optimism!
Squirrelhumper
Accept a draw in Georgia? You for real?
Caledonian Craig
Only a win will do in this game. No doubt about that.
ParisInAKilt
Definitely. Win your home games and take a point away is the key to winning the group.
Jagtag
Not a chance. The fact Poland and Ireland have won there added to Poland beating Germany means if we draw we will be looking at beating Germany or we're out.
girvanTA
3 points are required if we are serious about qualification
smiler82
If we want to regularly start qualifying for major tournaments then we need to take three points from these type of games.
Hampden View
Drawing games is losing 2 points and gets you to narrowly miss out on qualification. Winning games gets you to the big party. Look at between 74 and 98 campaigns and note some good and great wins. Look at '00 onwards and see draws. You want to qualify you need to win. You want to narrowly miss out you come home happy with a draw. We may miss out due to draws Ireland and Poland.........but hopefully not. Parklife
Craig Levein would probably play for a draw.
ScotsRik
I have been anxious about this fixture for a while - especially when Ireland scored an injury time winner there along with Poland/Germany winning as has been mentioned. These results have probably made Scotland's chances a bit harder as they sacked manager and new one will look to improve. However, a win there will mean we can start looking forward rather than over our shoulders. Beat Georgia.....match or better Poland result against Germany (them being away and us at home) and then sneak a wee win at Hampden against Poland and we are there.......in second place are we not??? So MASSIVE game in Georgia - Can't accept anything but a win. Anxious.....but not anxious enough to take a draw against Georgia now!

Ally Bongo
Bet my suggestion that the game would have been better played behind closed doors to increase our chances of 3 points is not looking as odious now .......
deecie
Bet my suggestion that the game would have been better played behind closed doors to increase our chances of 3 points is not looking as odious now ....... Nah, it's still pretty odious.
radian_13
Na still a ridiculous shout from a non traveller not wanting fans to get a point!! How did Ireland Poland and Germany fair against this unbelievable atmosphere that Georgia have???
ParisInAKilt
Another cliche but if we can't beat Georgia away in a full stadium when we shouldn't be going to the euros
