John_B81
Good appointment for St Mirren. Done very well at Dumbarton to keep them in the Championship three years running, once very close to the Premiership playoffs too.
Micky
Aye delighted with this. Saw Dumbarton a couple of times last year (when they finished an excellent 5th) and was v impressed. For a part time club in an primarily full time league they've done very well. As with Hartley at Alloa - Murray was always going to want a full time club eventually. Whether coming to Paisley is the right move for him remains to be seen. Our fans are notoriously demanding, moany b*****ds. We have little in the way of finance and we'll certainly be up against some stiff competition no matter how the playoffs unfold. If he is allowed to get involved in the transfer market early this summer and bring in some decent experience to blend with our multitude of kids it might just work. giblet
Think Nid will become a great manager. Great mentality and has done extremely well with limited budget at Dumbarton.
