werdsdaughter's Achievements

  1. We're flying on Friday Edinburgh - CDG, train from there to Metz and staying at the Mercure. Same route back on Sunday. £250 each all in.
  2. We were surprised too considering, as you said, how modern it is. The staff were helpful and friendly enough so can't complain about that.
  3. Also a very poor stadium for disabled fans. My mum and sister, who is wheelchair bound, were positioned directly behind the goals at ground level with all the media cameras etc in front meaning that she struggled to see. On top of that there was only one disabled toilet which included a trek across the corner of the pitch to get to. They ended up dragging monitors with them as they had to cross over the media cables and what not. Still had an amazing trip but there were a few issues with the stadium especially from that point of view.
  4. There's still a fair bit of snow at the top so make sure you've plenty of waterproofs etc etc. Also, as someone else said I think, the first part of the path is basically a large pile of organised rocks and large steps (I've only done to the half-way Lochan so can't comment on the top half) so watch your feet esp on the way down. Otherwise good luck and I hope the weather isn't as bad as it has been!
  5. I got one right on midday. Had to refresh the sold out message a few times though.
  6. Had a brilliant time. Teds gig before the game was excellent and had the perfect atmosphere for the build up to the game. We based ourselves in Berlin and are still kicking about here. Another brilliant city which has just added to it all.
