all week the wee ones have been hyper at bedtime so was expecting the worst. Nope :D . Dinner, new xmas jammies and bed by 7.30 no probs !

We had a glass of wine and put out their presents, made sure Santa and Rudolph had scoffed their treats from the back step, and bed by 9pm :ok:

Now wide awake lying in bed listening for the first stirrings, and hoping you all have a lovely Christmas .

We had to wake our 4 yr old at 9!

I like your kid :ok:

My sister used to go mad cos I wouldn't get up and she had to wait to open her presents.

To be honest I am not sure why people take so much joy about their kids getting excited about getting "stuff" Surely it is sad that kids are being encouraged to be materialistic?

Had a heavy one with the in laws last night. Bed for 0130, woke up at 0300, again at 0615 for lad 2 awake, then 0745 for lad 1.

Been drinking champagne for a number of hours now. Just dropped off a massive Yuletide log. Feel much better now.

J

After a session like that it would be gravy I'd be dropping off
