I was going to vote SNP but after my wife’s performance last night I’ve switched to UKIP. What is it with these immigrants coming to my living room, eating all my packets of Wheat Crunchies and havering p!sh for the duration of the Champions League Semi Final?

I voted Green in Fylde South. I had to spoil my local council paper as there were only Tory and Lib Dems standing.

I had mislaid my polling card - just gave my name and address - no ID check at all. Just takes me back to referendum - how easy would it be for security services to establish who is dead or no longer at address and either submit postal vote or indeed turn up at polling station and be an imposter.

( b ) any forecast as to the result of the election which is (or might reasonably be taken to be) based on information so given.

(2) This section applies to–

(a) any parliamentary election; and

( b ) any local government election in England or Wales.

(3) If a person acts in contravention of subsection (1) above, he shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months.
