jenblueeyes
hes a unionist so feck him. Aye - that's mature. Someone has a different viewpoint to me ergo I'll ignore them and dismiss everything they do. I've got lots of friends who are unionists and that's their choice. It makes for some interesting chats on a night out but I can happily agree to disagree with their points of view. And I still eat Tunnocks wafers...mainly cos they are my favourite biscuits. If you don't like them you've only wasted 59p.
Return of Yermaw
Anyone going to this at the Kelvingrove Bandstand tonight? I cannae wait. Was in Kelvingrove with the dug and was listening. Sounded good though the audience was, eh, a bit eclectic. Weather like last night makes the bandstand a great permanent open air venue in the heart of the city - though wonder if it would have gone ahead if it had been on the previous night with the pishing rain? Would have been pretty miserable for all if it had - inc me and the dug........

Must be some sad, bitter folk in Scotland. I wonder if they want our no voting players to play badly? Gig was absolutely brilliant.

wanderer
Heard from folk who went to see him at a folk festival in Fife just before the referendum that he was getting stuck right into the Yes Campaign and the SNP during his performance, to the point he was boo'd off stage. ZoltanBuchan
Folk who can't listen to music because the artist has a different political point of view need their heid examined Indeed. If you can't separate the person from their art, then your seriously limiting your choices. To pick three names at random, Wagner, Larkin and Morrissey would be completely out of bounds for me if I thought like this. (Not that I've ever listened to Wagner, mind ) Heard from folk who went to see him at a folk festival in Fife just before the referendum that he was getting stuck right into the Yes Campaign and the SNP during his performance, to the point he was boo'd off stage. That's fair game if he decides to get political during his performance Agree; this is different. If he chooses to make a political point during a performance...get stuck in Edited August 7, 2015 by ZoltanBuchan

scotlad
I'd be left listening to Gary Numan and Phil Collins . Don't worry, I've some good news for you. According to his widow, Ian Curtis apparently once voted Tory (although to be fair, the poor man is no longer with us to defend himself). Toepoke
Don't worry, I've some good news for you. Although voting Tory pre Maggie doesn't have quite the same stigma attached (that is until this week )
