Ormond
Wish the support was like that now. Our support continues to dwindle due to the ever increasing politicising of our two biggest clubs. "Ah'm no' following Scotland 'cos they're pure huns, so they are."Vice versa for the other lot. The Old-Firm used to provide by far the biggest numbers following Scotland. iainmac1
Maybe not reflective of the whole support but I've noticed a change from when I first started supporting Scotland. There are now less rangers fans supporting Scotland but more celtic fans. Used to be a good number of rangers fans at games and celtic fans I knew in Glasgow wouldn't even consider supporting Scotland, due to being full of huns, anti celtic etc. These days it seems there are less rangers fans and many resent the national team. More celtic fans have come across, even ones I know who previously wouldn't have bothered with Scotland at all. I think the referendum has been a cause for this. It has helped get some celtic fans behind the national team and hardened the anti Scottish Brit brigade at ibrox against it.
glasgow jock
I'd say many more Celtic fans support Scotland these day's, compared to my early days supporting Scotland, late 70's early 80's ? Scotland support is a broad church, which can only be good, lacks passion though & a lot of day trippers.

deecie
It's scientific fact that the Scotland support is 50% Aberdeen, 50% Rangers.
Squirrelhumper
It's scientific fact that the Scotland support is 50% Aberdeen, 50% Rangers. PASTA Mick
I'm sure there was a poll here years ago that went Rangers Aberdeen Celtic Hearts /Killie I wonder what that poll would look like now. Lots of rangers fans have left the board. No idea if they still go to matches or not.

braveheart_lynch
Not sure the support at an England v Scotland game is a fair reflection on the support overall. Personally I think our support is the best it's been in a long time.
PASTA Mick
Not sure the support at an England v Scotland game is a fair reflection on the support overall. Personally I think our support is the best it's been in a long time. Considering the SFA/SSC, police, transport and UEFA go out their way to makes things difficult, we do okay. jimstroma
Wish the support was like that now. Was a great night, remember the seats were just benches and everyone was standing on the seats.
Goozay
Give us a win at Wembley, play-offs and regular qualification for tournaments and the support could well be like that again.
