Flight to Frankfurt arrives at 9pm. Booked train from airport to Augsburg that leaves at around midnight/ change at Frankfurt. Would we be able to jump into Frankfurt early, rather than hanging around the airport station? The tickets are train specific, but only want to jump on for 10 mins from airport and grab some food at the HBF.

Staying in Augsburg , and wondering whether to head back after the match or stay a couple of hours in Munich. Trains seem to be filling up and prices have gone up from €10 to €20 on some trains, this will probably double again nearer matchday.

Ive got 2 places booked for 4 nights and would appreciate advice. A cheap hostel in Ehrenfeld - looks a bit out of town. Or a better hotel in Wuppertal (is there enough there for four nights?

had a look at that app and the have had an upgrade, reviews are crap since and seems only any good through the paid subscription.

For all those that have been to tournaments before, what is the best way to go about this these days (mostly cashless I presume). Is it best to lump everyone on one credit card (trains, hotels, meals and bevvy) and split the bill at the end of tournament, or are there better ways? We are all there for the same duration. Just off the phone, the ticket never materialised , but the payment pending went through. Had to re-book and keep an eye out for refund within 7 days.

Bought 3 tickets munich to Cologne. No tickets appeared in the app so checked my credit card and it showed as payment pending. Went back to app and showing as 'ticket cancelled'. These tickets cant be cancelled (and i dont think i did it) So looks like ive been scudded for 90€ . Any advice?

Would it be possible to get from Frankfurt- Munich then Munich - Cologne using the DB 49euro train ticket?

There is a 49 euro pass- but only on regional trains ( not ICE or high speed). Could possibly go long distance by breaking up your journey , but that would need a lot of planning
