RenfrewBlue
1-0 to the Saints approaching half time. Sounds like it's a cracking game with end to end action. Now we just need another couple of Saints goals.

Potted Heid
Fluff from the keeper and easy head in. Need Morton to get back in to it in the second half as I need as many teams down around the Sons as possible. Mon the Ton.

Robroysboy
Horrendous crowd for a derby. surely saturday at 15.00 would have got a better attendance, was game moved for BBC ALBA? How much do they pay?

Dunno but for an alleged derby it's piss poor. Stadium only holds 8k.

Squirrelhumper
Would Kilmarnock vs Ayr get more at rugby park??Think last one had 9k.(Diddy cup km a Tuesday)One before was about 11.5k.(Scottish cup replay live on TV on a Thursday) In between was 25k at Hampden and a sell out at Somerset. I'm actually surprised at how low that crowd is tonight. Edited November 20, 2015 by Squirrelhumper
Micky
Decent Morton support ..ours was piss poor. Years of truly dreadful home displays are catching up with us. Was quite encouraged during the first half but we all knew what would happen in the second. It happens every feckin week. Sit deeper and deeper till we concede. Surprised it took Morton so long. Difficult to see where a result is coming from. We are a shambles at the minute.

sbcmfc
Didn't see the game, but the boy that equalised (Alex Samuel) was excellent v Motherwell, tore McManus to shreds! Was quite disappointed when I found out he wasn't homegrown, a loanee from Swansea. Cracking player though!

the Sunnylaw Jag
What is St. Mirren's overall record at the new St. Mirren Park, it must be pretty dire?
stirlish
I am sure it's against Killie(full house on opening of ground), also think their highest attendance most years in SPL was against Killie. What is St. Mirren's overall record at the new St. Mirren Park, it must be pretty dire?
Jersey Jim
Correct stirlish, in fact 3 out of 4 of our largest attendances since moving into the new ground have been against Killie. Sunnylaw, Our league record in the new ground is shocking. Played 125 Won 31 Drawn 43 Lost
iainmac1
Don't think the game being on a Friday night is to blame since its a derby. They've had a few between ICT and Ross County and the crowds have been very healthy. Over 7k in Inverness and sell outs in Dingwall. I actually prefer the Friday night game derbies to Saturday ones. Toepoke
St Mirren missed a trick with the new stadium. Could've had a mini Tynecastle with steeper stands, would've created a more intimidating atmosphere, and given most fans a better view... King Of Paisley
A big factor in such a low crowd for a derby has been the absolute horseshit that has been served up under Murray this season. That and our complete inability to win a game at home. Think we have only five competitive home wins since March 2014. If Murray had any dignity left he would walk. He is utterly clueless and our second half performance was a disgrace. Morton should have won that game as they would have done had they scored with say 10 minutes to go. The club is an utter shambles on and off the park. The sooner the current board get to along with the aforementioned clown the better. We are in freefall and in real danger of playing third tier football for the first time in our history.
heid
Away you go Murrays doing a great job, need to give young Scottish managers a chance. I would give him to the end of the season at least.....
iainmac1
Have St. Mirren not said the same about every manager they've had at some point or other in the last couple of decades? When was the last time St. Mirren finished in the top half of the top league? Remember reading it before and it was a very long time ago. The rut they are in has been very prolonged.
