hannibal smith
Is it unfair? or maybe its right that Men Sport command the lions share since they pull in the far larger crowds http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29744400 Edited October 28, 2014 by hannibal smith
biffer
Should be dependent on income. Where ticket sales and sponsorship are equal, pay should be too. Otherwise proportionate. Pay in sport increased dramatically because sportsmen wanted their fair share of the income. Now sportswomen seem to want more than their share of the income - they want the men's income too. Pay / Prize money rose on a free market economic basis. Raising money above the level of income it attracts is applying a different model based on 'but it's not fair!'. If you apply that across sport no one should get three hundred grand for kicking a ball about.
Bristolhibby
Quite frankly I don't care who wins women's Wimbledon, or who wins the women's 100m Olympic goals. Usain Bolt or some fast lass. Who would you rather watch? J
