I can no longer go to Georgia and my hotel booking is non refundable so if any fellow foot soldier want my room for gratis PM me giving me your name and I can try to change the name on the booking. The booking agent said I can do this. The booking is from 2nd September and checking out the day of the game on the 4th so ideal if you have a flight home in the early hours after the game like I did. It's at the Holiday Inn beside the casino.

Don't forget the cost of a tourist visa which you will all have to get on arrival into Doha. Used to be 100qr (16quid) per person paid by card only at immigration but may have gone up to 55usd each. With the new airport now in operation the hotels are now a bit further away but if it's a hotel near the old airport (oryx rotana) shouldn't be much more than a tenner each way
