adamntg
technically speaking Clydebank were re-branded as Airdrie United And are now Airdrieonians again. They can't both have vanished. Clydebank, Gretna and Rangers didn't really vanish either. New clubs with those names are playing at various lower levels.
daddybuc16
Were meadowbank not rebranded as livingston? I mind going to meadowbank with the big scoreboard.

Charlie Endell
I wish Livingston would vanish (the club and the town).

Tin Shed Jaggie
Caledonian fc only. Never had the Inverness prefix. Even bigger pedant alert. I think Caley had the Inverness prefix up to early to mid 80s. During Scottish cup runs the club name was abbreviated on the BBC vidiprinter to Inverness C causing confusion as to whether it was referring to Caledonian or Clachnacuddin. Us proper Invernessians up the hill would never drop Inverness from our club name
jock strap
Watched this programme, really enjoyed it. Felt sorry for the kit man in the end, seemed like a genuine care for the community man who loved his wee club. Not quite rags to riches but non league to Europe in a few years was brilliant
giblet
My grandad played for St. Bernard's. Looks like they had a big following at turn of 20th century.
giblet
Were meadowbank not rebranded as livingston? I mind going to meadowbank with the big scoreboard. Meadowbank "moved" to Livingston and changed their name. Edinburgh City in the Lowland league now play at Meadowbank Stadium. Top of the league at the moment. He scored a similar one against us for Thistle at Firhill as well.

Us proper Invernessians up the hill would never drop Inverness from our club name Certainly didn't have it officially. I dare say the BBC would have prefixed it with Inverness for the sake of the hard of thinking. I am amazed they didn't think of tagging on Kirkcaldy to explain where Raith Rovers came from, as it seemed to create plenty of confusion when they used to "dance on the streets of Raith". adamntg
Raith is an area of Kirkcaldy. It's not really that funny a faux pas.
