  1. Arfield and Boyd played well for Burnley.
  2. This from the finest live band I saw in 2015... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0-qZqAQ836k
  3. It's not my usual type of thing, but I am really enjoying Ghostpoet's album Shedding Skin.
  4. Another vote for Finley Quaye. Bataclan Paris 1998. Embarrassing.
  5. It is lovely. Great for cycling. The potatoes are fantastic. I'm serious !
  6. I went to see The Ecstasy of Wilko Johnson last night. Superb, but then I am a fan of the great man.
  7. I recently read A Colder War, a contemporary spy novel by Charles Cumming, a Scottish writer. Rather good it was too. I'll be looking into his back catalogue.
  8. Blue Mosque, Basilica Cisterns, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar, and a ferry ride. If you want a restaurant recommendation, my favourite is Pasazade, especially for the Mutancene (Ottoman lamb stew with apricots and almonds). A truly great city.
  9. Another thumbs up for Bites. Great place. Opposite the Albert Hotel.
  10. Not today he wasn't anyway. He also looked pretty fed up to be stuck in midfield when Rodallega and Woodrow were so ineffective up front.
  11. Jack Grimmer played well at right back for Fulham against Wolves today. Ross McCormack had some nice touches in midfield, but is far too slow.
  12. Suomenlinna island in Helsinki harbour is worth a visit. The ferry only takes about 20 minutes. in Tallinn, don't miss DM Baar, the Depeche Mode themed bar/night club, just off the main square. Fabulous !
  13. I saw this pair this evening. They were fantastic. http://m.youtube.com/index?&desktop_uri=%2F#/watch?v=3MGXu0Fm1GA
