  1. I've got a ticket for each game in the East Stand that I can sadly no longer use. Face value of £25 each but will obviously listen to offers as I'd just like the seat to be filled. Happy to sell them separately. Please DM me if you're interested.
  2. My tickets are in 129 and have Scottish FA on them… so hopefully it’s 129-140!! (doesn’t change the point about 309 though…)
  3. I think we'll aim for a place called Slattery's quite near the ground. It was good a few years ago. But I'd also like to get a bit of the atmosphere in Temple Bar area as I missed that last time.
  4. Got the earliest entry slots for both games, which is far from ideal especially as we’re travelling from Aberdeen on the day and so for the Czech game we’ll be hard pushed to make the slot even if we wanted to. Current thinking is to turn up at 1230 and chance our arm. I’d actually rather miss the first half an hour than sit in Hampden, 4 seats away from any other human, for three hours before kick off. I would really like it if Hampden or UEFA would confirm what there will be to do in the ground or what entertainment will be on. Even smuggling in a drink is hardly a compelling option as drinking through boredom is a recipe for disaster. I understand there needs to be staggered entry, and I have just been one of the unlucky ones, but I’d really like to think something will be done to try to keep fans’ spirits up.
  5. We got them in the UEFA ballot and are in different seats (different stands even) for both games.
  6. This is my question as well. My mate and I who have tickets “together” are four seats apart so it’s like we’re not even supposed to talk to the people around about us, even those we are there with. Are we supposed to bring board games with us or something? Pillows? Also, as we’re travelling from Aberdeen, transport already booked, and we have to drop luggage, we probably can’t even make our slot. Currently planning to just flout the rules and turn up maybe an hour before kick off, but interested to see what other people are thinking. surely it will result in loads of people trying to smuggle booze into the ground as well, just to kill the time.
  7. Well, the British and Irish Lions are, sensibly, waiting as long as possible for this one-off fixture to arrive before saying “we need a decision on capacity”. Which is different from UEFA’s approach of asking for capacity to be confirmed two+ months ahead of the game. (Which is also understandable given they have a whole tournament to sort out) Also bear in mind that the capacity of Murrayfield is 15,000 higher than Hampden and with, in my view, more opportunity for social distancing in other areas of the stadium and ground, and with the amenities, food etc actually outdoors, so expect capacities to be a bit higher.
  8. Completely agree with this. I went to the Macedonia game and rather naively just expected the authorities to let us in. (To be fair, with my complexion and hair colour I don't think I was going to pass as a Macedonian anyway...) If you are desperate to see the game live then I'd advise you to ditch any Scottish stuff, apart from maybe a flag you can whip out at the final whistle!!
  9. There's a big O'Neill's near Kings Cross that was heaving with Scotland fans after the game in 2013.
  10. If I am so burst on Thursday that I get an early night I might get up early on the Friday and head to Trafalgar Square for the Armistice Day memorial. I've watched it a few times on the telly but I imagine it's a completely different feeling/atmosphere to actually be there.
  11. I think it will be (albeit it's not what I would pick) Marshall Patterson Martin Hanley Wallace Ritchie Fletcher Brown Bannan Snodgrass Martin

  13. We were in Soho before the last game at Wembley and it was terrible. Nowhere would let us in with our kilts on. We ended up in GAY Late! We did have our wives in tow though. Sounds like if we'd ventured just a few streets farther in any direction we would have had more luck!
  14. I see it as a bit of a "rite of passage" for a Scotland fan to go to Wembley and watch the team play in a competitive game. My dad, grandparents, uncles, brothers etc. all went to Wembley for the home internationals tournaments and have such fond memories of it that I am just desperate to get there and experience it for myself. I was there in 2013 and I thought that would be as close as I got, but now we get the "real thing" and I am already overly excited. The result and performance in Slovakia took the wind out of my sails a bit, but having watched England in the last few weeks, and also the Premiership, I feel there are a few chinks in their armour. Add in to the above the fact that we are (somehow) only 3 points off the top of the group, and it really is as big a game as we get as Scotland fans. I am prone to letting early setbacks in games really get me down (much like the entire crowd against Lithuania!) but I am determined to keep a positive mind set throughout this game and back the team to the hilt. And of course, the fact that this game is so important for the team and for me means that I am also ridiculously nervous. I am dreading the game being over by half time and us having nothing to sing about or celebrate.
  15. I didn't see that tweet but I guessed that would be the case and hence plumped for the £65 ones. The seats last time at Wembley were good but they were miles from the pitch. Im hoping to get tickets for zero pointers on Monday as well and figured the £65 ones would move slowest and so the best chance of us being in the same section.
