pedro81
Alright folks, Heading to Munich for my stag do next April (17th-20th) and was looking for ideas and general pointers from anyone who has visited Munich. Noticed the 1860 v Bochum game is on the weekend we are there, also heard good things about the beer bikes and the Augustinner Keller. Any advice is appreciated
deecie
You should go to the football, ride a beer bike & go to the Augustiner. Apart from that, there's now inspectors on the S-Bahn from the Airport so might want to buy a ticket for that journey. No worries
Lion Rampant
Went there for my stag and had a great time. We went to an 1860 Munich game and got tickets for roughly €15, ask the guy at the ticket booth if you can get them for the section where the home fans stand, it was good in there. We did a tour of the stadium when we were there which was pretty good. You're going at the same time as Fruhlingsfest starts, which is essentially a small scale version of Oktoberfest (it's at the same location). We booked a table in the Hippodrom tent and had the best day & night of the stag in there. http://www.hippodrom-fruehlingsfest.de/en/ If you make a point of doing anything then I'd recommend doing that. At night we went to Kultfabrik a couple of times, which is a small collection of bars and clubs and was pretty good.
