Flora MaDonald
Just heard. Absolutely gutted. Minder was the greatest programme out - was just watching him an hour ago.
wanderer
Just heard. Absolutely gutted. Minder was the greatest programme out - was just watching him an hour ago. Loved it as a kid, and only just got back into it in recent weeks through ITV4 reshowings. Apparently was still doing stage work up to recently, and know he reunited with Dennis Waterman on New Tricks for a episode a number of years back. Charlie Endell
A good innings, but still a sad day. VATs raised all round as a tribute. Edited August 6, 2015 by Charlie Endell
Fairbairn
I genuinely thought he died about 10 years ago.
wanderer
Had just finished filming a tv movie called "Road Rage" which was due for release later this year, and apparently had another project in the works

Charlie Endell
He deserves at least double the coverage of the Scouse crone (which was totally OTT).

DaveyDenoon
He deserves at least double the coverage of the Scouse crone (which was totally OTT). Couldn't agree more. Arfur had more talent in his wee finger than the Scouse bint had in her entire body.
Kenneth Farrington
Sad news, but at least he had a good run at it. Even though later episodes of Minder are crap, he still stands out.

TartanJon
I thought the Shane Ritchie version of Minder was better than the original with Cole & Waterman. They should have made more than six episodes.
wanderer
DI Chisholm never got his man in the end Was shocked when I caught US Marshals on tv few months back (Tommy Lee Jones, Robert Downey Jr and Wesley Snipes) and the guy who played Chisholm popped up in it playing a top CIA guy (with a really bad American accent) The Winchester will be a sad place today. Apparently the guy who played Dave lives in Edinburgh these days.
