Green_Tide_Rising
Hey folks....i think 12,000 is a fair estimation. I was at the game Do note there is about 150,000 polish living in Ireland (mainly Dublin) ....hence the large number there tonight There was a few incidents in the city centre , with them getting drunk and causing trouble, also a few incidents in the stadium with them But on a positive note for the Scotland supporters coming over in June, there was alot of poles mixing with the Irish in the home end and they were allowed to, so that bodes well for any Scotland fan who has tickets in our end for Junes game
Shotts56
Good news indeed. Looking forward to a good atmosphere and hopefully a great weekend.
Irishandproud
Was at the game, couldn't estimate a figure but 12000 must be quite close. Huge amounts of Poles in the sections immediately next to official away section and others spread throughout the ground. And anyone worrying about getting in with kilts and tops, needn't bother, there won't be any problem. Not a hope in hell a problem you're right! Be prepared for stupid delays getting into the ground though lads, we were kept outside for half an hour while they searched everyone, it was a joke! King Of Paisley
Me and a mate have got tickets for the area immediately next to the official Scotland area. Right on the eighteen yard line. Really can't wait for this one now. The atmosphere will be electric inside the stadium and has the makings of being a cracker.
Irishandproud
West or east stand mate? West stand better for getting in pre game, East stand will be where all the scots will be entering also, but sure you lot will be probably everywhere! King Of Paisley
Not sure mate. Just grateful we will get into see the game. Reckon we will have at least 10,000 in the stadium. All told, it will be some atmosphere. Counting the days already.
teecee-
GTR- incidents about town are not new to us. Your lot will be ok as we usually keep them within our own fans.

Green_Tide_Rising
that due to Poles and the use of flares/smoke bombs etc? didnt seem they found any judging by the sight in the polish end at times Wud be of the view that it was due to the poles and some elements of their support. Some of them were drunk and it caused a few issues....if u know wat i mean. Seemingly there was a fear of neo-nazi element in their group...which was been investigated by our police and there was a slight worry that they might try kick-off in the stadium. There is a certain element of their support that can be nasty.... and our police and stadium security were right to check bags. Quite a few of them were thrown out of the stadium during game seemingly Dont forsee the same problems for ye scots

I came in from the sandymount hotel side of the ground and didn't get checked by security at all after the ticket checks

Argentina78
3 more of us in 501 Probably the 3 worst seats in Ireland, but atleast we will be there. Are they still available? Many thought they were sold out
viva la mike
Are they still available? Many thought they were sold out Sorry I ordered them at the weekend. There wasn't many to pick from then, so they probably will be sold out now. I figured that the demand from their fans would spike after the Poland game.
