brant grebner
If Nawbags were serious about trying to heal a divided society, maybe they should do something about it instead of just saying that Alex Salmond is fat, Mhairi Black is a ned dyke and Nicola Sturgeon has a cheesy fanny. People who voted no should reclaim the abusive terminology and make it their own to defuse it. I want to see Nawbags greeting each other by fist bumping and saying "Yo my Quîsling", "Yo my Traitor". That way the words would still retain the stigma, but only Nawbags would use them and we could all move on and heal ourselves for da sake of da kidz. RenfrewBlue
There are individuals who make me doubt the validity of your claim.Still in denial I see. Both sides have some utter rockets amongst their numbers and to think one side has any sort of moral high ground is wrong. From the stuff I've seen personally I'd say the Unionists are the biggest fuds but due to my own preferences this is an expected observation. Labour's dossier also makes it look like their supporters are worse too, as if what they've published is the worst they've seen then they really need to have a wee look at the stuff aimed at Salmond and Sturgeon on Twitter. Darlings - 'Blood & Soil' nationalism Currans - 'wouldn't care if someone ran Salmond over with a bus' Lamont - nationalists are a 'virus' not to mention Ian Smarts daily nut-job rants that believing Scotland should make its own decisions makes you a Nazi, then the whole slew of other prominent people from Starkey to Stephenson calling us Nazis - a Professor at Edinburgh University calling a 19 year old student from Glasgow a 'slut'.. should we go over the list of Scot Labour MPs who have been abusive and threatening ? at least 2 Davidson and Murphy launching threatening verbal assaults on SNP MPs... The problem is they are dehumanising SNP supporters. I was threatened whilst leafelting a leafy middle class suburb in Edinburgh by an old angry man (who thought better of it) - why was he angry, why did he threaten me ? Because of the language and behaviour of these people and newspapers. It saddens me that their case is so weak they can present no arguments just fear and intimidation... this could get much more unpleasant and I think thats what they want. I would love to see a similar example of this kind of behaviour on the SNP side ?

buckielugger
I hope the Greens get a decent number of MSPs next time and go past the Libs in size. Patrick Harvie is an excellent guy and one of my favourite politicians. I actually wrote to Nicola suggesting he be made deputy first minister to show the Yes movement was more than just the SNP. I guess that could still occur next May if there isn't a full majority for SNP alone. I also really like Tommy Sheridan and would love to see him back in parliament somehow. And I adore Nicola totally. Wonderful in every way.

aaid
I think this just confirms that Labour have lost the plot and all credibility with it. I'm sure in the interrest of fairness they will highlight all the abuse that has been flung at Yes supporters, has Marie Rimmer had her trial yet? Case thrown out because of a -up by the PF. killiefaetheferry
I keep reasonably up to date with 'news'. I don't buy a paper. I look at various sites online and watch some BBC and Sky news. I didn't realise this was happening. I have a vague recollection of it happening when the MP was initially charged. I am sure that had the accused been an SNP PM, then the 'news' coverage would have been similarly muted. Either that or front page in every paper all week this week and live fuqing coverage on BBC and Sky from the court all day. HHHmmmmmmm....
