Not sure what car park you passed but there were plenty buses in the car park we had the pass for. I made a point of taking plenty photos as proof when I sent the e-mail to the traffic police - as I had been advised to do from the car park attendants on the night. As usual no reply, no apologies, no excuse even!

We were on Bus 2 run by Greystane and thought the organisation was excellent. Picked up our wristbands just after 3pm, the bus park where we were to get on bus was clearly marked on a map for us and we were told to be back at Loch Ness pub between 5pm and 6pm. Nearly all 4 buses were filled on time but maybe another 20 turned up later (not sure how when all the rest managed to find the place ok) anyway buses left at 7pm when they were supposed to and were all lined up outside stadium for return journey. Don't know where Willie Miller "got euphoria tonight" ??? I reluctantly decided to travel to Faro at the weekend as I worked hard to pay for the trip (unlike the freebies he goes on) and although I was hurting due to Poland result decided to make the most of it. Having travelled for a number of years I can honestly say this trip was very subdued for a lot of the support due to the "meaningless outcome " of the game. We made new friends, had a couple of good meals and yes enjoyed the 6 nil result. However it did nothing to take away the hurt of yet another failure to qualify for a tournament and this was easy to guage as we were transported back to our resorts certainly no signs of euphoria, quite the opposite even. There was no lap of honour by the players only a thank you to us, which they do after every game-there would have been an outcry if they had not acknowledged us!!! Having played football myself I know these players would be as gutted as we were. We've just got to face it we weren't good enough in a group where everyone said from the start was a tough one.

The song was recorded by a group led by Ian ?? Canny remember surname and called The Weeist Pipe Band in the World. Have this cd in my collection !!
