Ok fair enough. Not looking to knock the lad. Sounds like he has potential. Also sounds like hes maybe more a forward/winger type rather than a striker. Will need to get a move to the English championship next season before we can really consider him for future squads though.

His scoring record isn't that impressive at that league 1 and he's already 21. Is he more a Lyndon dykes or Steven fletcher type of striker/forward? As in a striker who contributes with link up play and assists.

Another season at Bologna would be good for his career imo. Then a move up to a big team if he's good enough.

Conway, Fraser and Morgan would be my choices for the extra spots.

Yeh I think he's eligible for us. Pretty sure someone on here said Clarke was interested in him. We are usually short on decent strikers so it's best to try and coax in as many prospects in as possible.

Joe Taylor scores a cracker. Don't know much about him but he might make it at a higher level going by how many he's scored this season.

Didn't realise he had moved to Bournemouth. Hope it works out well for him. Maybe a loan move to league 1 or 2 might be beneficial for him. Watched him in a match against Patrick thistle and he looked quite good especially when warming up. He was physically impressive for a 16 year old and looked agile and strong. Hes likely to fill out a bit over the next few years but he looked the perfect build for a keeper already. Could potentially be our first choice in a few years.

Now that Ferguson is out gauld and Morgan should get chances to impress.

I was more talking about Leonard. Sounds like the Northampton support think he's special and could easily play in the epl.

Seems like the lad has benefitted from his time at Northampton and should be ready to move up a level next season. A season or 2 in the championship then move up to the epl if he's good enough should be his next move.

Dembele with another goal for Blackpool yesterday. That's 7 goals and 11 assists in the league this season. He's only just turned 21 as well. Probably a good chance he ends up playing for us or the ivory coast if he keeps progressing. Not exactly very keen on him after all his switching between England and Scotland but we do tend to lack attacking wingers with pace and flair so I could maybe see him being a useful addition in the future if he turns into a decent player.

It's not that incredible when you consider his main position that he's played his whole career has been attacking midfield. Saying that I think Clarke needs to consider him for central or defensive midfield sooner rather than later as it's clear he can play that role well.

Conway's two goals. Surprised there isn't more excitement regarding him. He's probably got 50/50 chance of becoming an established epl striker in the future. Something we usually lack in our squad.

His club form has always been hit or miss. End of the day he is a average championship striker who wouldn't get picked normally but has done pretty well for clarke in the chances he got. He's definitely not a guaranteed starter but he's certainly earned his place in our squad regardless of club form. I agree though that he needs to show a bit more in a Scotland shirt as recently he hasn't done much. I would give either shankland or Adams the starting position for the euro matches especially if they do well in the two upcoming friendlies.

Ooft dykes is taking a slagging on here. Surprising consider what he did against Norway away and all the other important goals and assists he's scored. He's been poor for his club but the guys been pretty good for us overall considering he's a average championship striker.
