  1. 6,000 tickets per competing nation confirmed on UEFA website for round of 16 and quarter-finals. https://www.uefa.com/euro2024/news/0288-19970b4d3dd6-ba4ef4222ecc-1000--uefa-euro-2024-tickets-for-fans-of-qualified-teams-to-go-on/
  2. This is good news! If there are any more details, would you mind sharing that reply here? [Ridiculous, I know, that we have to be asking each other for this sort of information before being asked to part with our cash!].
  3. Results are in for the latest UEFA ticket ballot. No email received, but I logged into the ticket portal this morning to discover that I had been unsuccessful in my requests for 15 matches!
  4. New ticket application phase for the general public has opened this afternoon. I'm not sure if everyone has access to submit an application, or if I have been able to only because I was unsuccessful in the first ballot.
  5. I wonder how many people on 12 points or more are planning to go to only one or two games, and not all three. Or maybe not planning to go to Germany at all. My son and I are on 11 points, but we don't intend to attempt to order tickets when the 11-point window opens, given that the school term won't have finished during the group stages. Even if we have a game at a weekend, the cost of flights would probably be unjustifiable (at least in the eyes of my wife and my daughter!). If there are a good number of people in the same boat as me, there might be decent availability come Thursday for those on 11 points, and possibly even some left over for members on 10 points.
  6. At this point the SSC is simply asking members to register an account on UEFA.com. The ticket app for Euro 2024 will come later. In a separate thread, I mentioned an email I had received from the SSC: adult members will be able to order ticket(s) for under-16 members, as it's not possible to have a UEFA.com account under the age of 16.
  7. I had some success in the first ballot for (the eventually postponed) EURO 2020. Then, at various points over the following months, I received emails from UEFA with 'personal offers'. These emails invited me to log in to the ticket portal, where tickets for a small number of matches were available for me to buy immediately - up to 4 tickets per match. I was frequently offered the matches in Baku, but I was also given the opportunity to buy tickets for games in other cities, including Glasgow and Dublin. So, if you took part in the first ballot, and even if you were partially successful, I'd say keep an eye on your email inbox in the weeks and months ahead. You may well receive 'personal offers' to order tickets for some of the 'less attractive' matches ... but possibly some of the more attractive matches too!
  8. I emailed SSC about this today. They confirmed that, if an adult and child both have enough points to be eligible to buy tickets, the adult will be able to order on behalf of the child. No need to create a separate UEFA.com account for the child.
  9. I imagine a ballot will be required simply to separate SSC members on the same number of points, where the cut-off happens to be.
