Hope not we are due a decent draw, Slovakia one sticks out for me never been there and havent saw us play them. I'd take that but it'd be a lot of travelling! The fixtures for the UEFA confederation will be announced the day after the draw (Sunday 26th of July) and Russia will play friendlies against the teams from one of the two 5 team groups (like France did this time). Also like the Euro draw England, Germany, Italy, Spain, Germany & the Netherlands cannot go into one of the two 5 team groups (for tv reasons). Good info. I like what they're doing with the friendlies. Takes the sting out of being in the 5 team group. Was pish when we had it. Seemed to go forever without games. With all the fixture dates being used they really have to help out the hosts re friendlies so it is good for them and as you say it is always rubbish sitting at home while everyone else is playing! There is still a chance of that as there will be one 5 team group after Russia has been sloted in. Also FIFA have not yet decided on the draw time and will be on there website once it has been confirmed. I think this would possibly be the first time ever that we have been the most populated country in the group (in my life time anyway). Is that the Austria that is top of their group or the Bosnia that is 5th in theirs? In previous years I'd have agreed, now I'd absolutely want to avoid Austria. 6 games played and unbeaten - and that's a group including Sweden, Russia and Montenegro.
