  1. Tragic. Knew he was in hospital after suffering a seizure last week. Was hoping for the best possible outcome for Willie and his family. So sad.
  2. Cheers - yes it's been some season at Ochilview. You boys have gradually clawed your way back from oblivion, but still work to do in the final four weeks. That battle is going to be interesting for sure. As for 1-6, that was one of those days that football throws up occasionally. You boys were absolutely dynamite on that wild February Saturday.
  3. Thanks mate - it's really hit home just how awesome winning a league title is. Also fantastic to hear/see the well wishes from fans of other clubs.
  4. Cheers - such a great day finally getting over the line. I strongly agree with your final comment ๐Ÿ˜
  5. And our man Isiah Whitlock Jr. Isiah Whitlock Jr. @IsiahWhitlockJr 0-0 against East Fife? For the division title? Sheeeeeeeee-it! Stenhousemuir FC 4:38 pm ยท 7 Apr 2024 ยท 113.7K Views 145 Reposts 17 Quotes 1,571 Likes 22 Bookmarks

    Rugby 7's

World Rugby approved it after the three unions proposed it to them. From looking back on some old reports from that time it seems it suited them perfectly as it meant they didn't need to relegate anyone from the 7s circuit that year since the Scottish, Welsh and English amalgamated into the British (yuk).
  7. Not too sure what this other match you are all chatting about here was but as my above reply to vanderark14 the main event this weekend was Stenhousmuir FC being crowned League Two Champions. It's been a fine season from the squad, highlighted by a 12 match winning streak which enabled us to meander our way to being confirmed as champs with four games to play. Full credit to Gary Naysmith, Brown Ferguson and the players along with everyone else at the club. The first league trophy in our 140 year history. Remarkable. Looking forward to next season in League One. I guess I'll let you get back to debating the big Premiership match now ๐Ÿ‘
  8. Just seen this, yes mate - it's been a long time coming! 140 years in real terms and we've been stumbling towards the tape since the end of January basically - draw after draw ha ha. Anyway, amazing feeling seeing it confirmed and the celebrations have been immense. Cheers!

    Rugby 7's

From what I remember it was a cost cutting measure to save the English, Welsh and Scottish unions money. Instead of each country having teams competing on the 7s circuit they amalgamated it to GB at the end of the 2022 season. Used to enjoy watching the 7s, haven't watched it since that happened.
  10. Maybe off topic a bit but with clubs cutting the allocation of tickets to away supporters of Celtic and Rangers surely now the argument that clubs require both to visit twice a season with a huge travelling support is dead in the water. Could this lead to reconstruction and could we finally have a proper top league where teams don't face each other four times a season? Just a thought...
  11. Morton v Hearts could be quite good tonight. Will be interesting to see if the Premiership side can avoid an upset. Looking forward to watching.
  12. Maybe this guy could do a job ๐Ÿ˜‚ https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68532385
  13. She is phenomenal. There was a post on X, formerly Twitter, which included her interview. All it said was close your eyes and this is Mickey Mouse discussing athletic achievements. That being said, I'd put up with it.
  14. Both penalties awarded in that match this afternoon were poor. The red card was justified though. It was a cowardly option from the Celtic player. Having directed the ball upwards off his chest he had to meet the challenge of the Hearts player by going to head it, instead he made a split second decision to raise his foot almost 6 feet off the ground. Can have no complaints. It spoiled the game from a neutral perspective. I know that lad Idah has been on the score sheet a few times for Celtic and granted today was the first time I'd seen him as I don't watch much Premiership but I thought he was absolutely honking. Imagine starting him over Kyogo.
