I thought they fell oot wi their drummer? For the slight matter of him trying to do away wi someone.

He is in none of the publicity photos for the album, so suspect he will be replaced with a sessions drummer for the tour.... though I think most the serious charges were dropped, though he is still in hot water.

From reports in recent weeks, sounds like his troubles was the excuse the band were looking for to kick him out.

I don't think that Rudd plays on the new album. Read somewhere that they hadn't spoken for a while. This case in NZ is probably a good way out for them to bin him.

He does play on the album, but according to the band he was showing for sessions when he felt like it and when he did it was clear the lights were on but nobody was home.......

Makings of a good week :ok:

Foo Fighters on the Tuesday and now AC/DC on the Sunday :guitar:

Waiting for European tour to be announced now, as few of us fancy catching them in Berlin, Prague, Vienna or somewhere in Eastern Europe.

Thinking of going abroad myself as well as the Hampden gig. I know they are huge in Germany but a I think a Latin crowd would be unreal. The Live DVD's from River and Madrid looked absolute bedlam. The last gig at Hampden was great but the crowd were fairly subdued I thought.

Paris or Madrid it will be for us.....most likely Madrid as I've never been and I don't need holidays for work.

Going to be a long few months waiting for this now :guitar::guitar::guitar::guitar::guitar:

p.s who do you use for tickets abroad mate?

European gigs were added today, but nothing that took my fancy (Berlin few days before Glasgow, but already got a trip to Berlin booked 2 weeks after that gig.... If it's like Rock n Roll train tour, more european gigs will be added in the new year (seems to be UK, Germany, Scandanavia, France and one off places here and there at the moment).

Used official site for Paris gig few years ago.

Worth going abroad for them then? What was your thoughts about Paris? The Stade De France doesn't really appeal to me I must say.

The Vicente Calderon on the other hand....I reckon that would be a top quality concert venue.

Was so-so! Cracking day out, but was somewhat flat.....

That is why I am holding out for a mad Eastern European gig (Belgarde takes my fancy, but suspect that will be a tad to mad for my liking LOL)

Fair one mate. I think anything social in Belgrade will have potential to descend into complete madness :-))

Do think it would be good in Madrid though, and if not the band will still be there, and a cracking place to visit I imagine so all won;t be lost :guitar:
