But we only got 950 in the end...

Let's also not forget the elephant in the room, that the same happened v Hibs, despite 10,000 empty seats.

Because you reduced our initial allocation to what it is now, we then said you back.

I explained clearly in my post why that was the case, you decided not to quote that though. I think we both know why.

*Sigh*

All you did was further highlight your misunderstanding.

Aberdeen reduced Celtic's allocation at Pittodrie, so that more Aberdeen fans could attend. A reduction from roughly 15% of the ground to 7.5%. Still a generous allocation. This doesn't result in less Aberdeen fans being able to attend fixtures at Celtic (unless Celtic spit the dummy and reduce Aberdeen's allocation solely out of spite, as there will be plenty of empty seats in the ground). The net result is more Aberdeen fans attending the games.

Motherwell asked for 2000 tickets for Ibrox (4% of the ground) in return they were prepared to give Rangers 40% of Fir Park. Rangers refused this deal and gave 'Well 900 tickets.

It seems you and your massive chip on your shoulder are the only ones unable to see that these two situations are completely different.

Anyway. It's done now and won't change.

Let's hope for a fair and honest game tonight, and a cracking atmosphere.

Still think we are underdogs.

3rd place team in the 2nd tier would normally be massive underdogs.

It's pretty even though.

Rangers have a bigger budget than motherwell, and a lot of the players could and have played at a higher level.

Motherwell have had so many chances to get themselves out of this situation, and at home we've put in some pretty good performances of late, but away, we just fail to turn up or shoot ourselves in the foot time and again.

Both teams are capable of playing some decent stuff, and spectacularly blowing up.

Motherwell at their best are better than the best I've seen from Rangers, but I was at Hamilton on New Years day, and that league cup game at ibrox, so it's hard to get cocky.

Sigh indeed.

You originally said Rangers were being unreasonable for wanting more of their fans at the Ibrox game, you then back tracked and changed your criticism of them to "They could have had more fans at both games".

All of this of course is the exact opposite of what you were saying when Aberdeen cut Celtic's allocation. You can't have it both ways, the home team are either perfectly entitled to distribute as many tickets as they choose or they are not.

Calling people simpletons or accusing them of having a chip on their shoulder doesn't change the fact that you have been proven to be two faced over this. I know it must be hard to be proven wrong when you are a little know it all gobshite with too much time on his hands, but you're just going to have to get over it I'm afraid.

I stopped reading here, as it's apparent you've been unable to read and understand what's actually been posted. Instead you've made up your own wee version.

I actually just read the rest of your post now. What a load of pathetic bullshite. Your previous logins on here and in person you were a good guy, your latest incarnation acts like a complete bawbag though.

Oh dear more name calling. You really don't like being wrong, do you?

As for previous incarnations, you seem to be hanging around with Larky Masher too much cos I have no clue what you are on about either.

The facts here are that you said Rangers were being unreasonable wanks for not agreeing to give Motherwell more tickets for Ibrox in exchange for more at Fir Park. That contradicts everything that you previously said about home teams being entitled to get as many of their fans into the ground as possible.

That's a different "fact" from the one you were spouting off about a minute ago, claiming i'd backtracked. Have you now realised that you didn't read what was actually posted properly?

Rangers were being totally unreasonable in not agreeing to a ffavourable reciprocal agreement.

It doesn't contradict anything as the two situations are in no way equatable. Aberdeen giving Celtic less tickets was not part of any reciprocal agreement. Aberdeen will get the same number of tickets for Celtic Park (as there will be plenty empty seats). Clearly you're very bitter about Aberdeen reducing Celtic's allocation

McCall I'll give you even though he's not exactly "screaming" and his comments do make sense.

Johnstone doesn't represent Rangers though.

Is DJ not an employee of the club?

Thought both those articles were a bit irresponsible! Read like a thinly veiled threat and giving Rangers fans the green light to infiltrate the home end and cause bother.

I'm guessing the mccall quotes are plucked from a wider conversation.

His figures are a bit flawed too, if all the Rangers fans buy full price adult tickets, don't require any policing and buy a programme, they could have 3-4 squad players.

Anyway, football.

I'm ready to combust!

It doesn't matter if it was part of an agreement or not. Your original opinion was that home clubs can do as they wish when it comes to giving out tickets, that I agree with and it's exactly what Rangers did, but now you think that it's "unreasonable". There is no consistency from you here, probably because it's not your own team.

I'm not bitter about Celtic's allocation being cut at all. It doesn't actually affect me personally, and even if it did, Pittodrie is the worst away ground the the premier league so if I had to watch on TV then it honestly wouldn't bother me that much.
