  1. I have been a few times and would recommend it to anyone, there always seems to be vouchers in the record at school holidays. Not sure if the hotshots is still there, always good to see hiw hard your shot is.
  2. So sorry to disappoint you i have no other alter ego on here, just a difference of opinion which i think i am entitled to have.
  3. How can you say i am a troll. I passionately support scotland over any home nation, and would not want a united team as there would no few or no scottish players involved. Just because i want to wish them well in a tournament we were unable to qualify for does make me a traitor despite what the snp would have people believe.
  4. I don't get the anti home countries sentiment on here, we were not good enough to qualify, they were - it is as simple as that. I am sure many of those posting these comments would be among the first to be moaning about anti Scotland bias if we had qualified and other home nations hadn't. I will be enjoying the whole tournament, perhaps without the fervour if we had qualified, but we are still a united nation and we should be celebrating with, not complaining about them being there rather than us. I was in France 98 and am gutted that this is the last time we have qualified and would love that to have been different, but the facts are as they are, so lets try to remove the chip from our shoulder and grow up a bit. As for SNP victory in the election next year - I really hope there is a change in the political landscape before then, as, despite all their bluster and big talk, I can see no difference they have made to the lives of ordinary scots since they were all elected back in May, But anyway, back to the main point, enjoy the show and cheer positive play, whoever it is from.
  5. I know who they are but i am not telling you or any one else from croy. Rumour has it there are 2 kilsyth tartan army flags. I think it is just to confuse from croy or lesser kilsyth as it is sometimes known.
  6. What is it with the need to get drunk to watch scotland. You never (or seldom) hear the same comments for club games, but following scotland it seems to be a prerequisite. I am teetotal and have been following scotland for over 35 years and it appears not getting drunk is more important than watching the game. I just dont get it.
  7. There are now at least 24 teams in europe-not the world-in europe better than us. That is something for the powers that be to think about. I have been following the team for 30 odd years and will hopefully follow them for another 30 odd and my son will follow suit as well. We probably just need to be more realistic where we sit in terms of other teams. Most things go round in circles in sports and i an sure we will be up with the best at some point in future, but now it is very painful. The last goal tonight reminded me of the game v belgium where we lost a last minute goal. You just knew it was going to happen. Yes we need to reflect, but lets not givevup hope altogether. We will be back.
  8. I am 47 and was in france v morocco also at euro 96. My son is 8 abd i am not sure if he will ever see us in a major final. I really hope i am wrong, and perhaps it will be players of his age group that will succeed where others have failed.
  9. JD in Howgate Falkirk has some of the range, they are also selling last years training tops and polo shirts for £12.00 each.
  10. The fanzone for georgia game was excellent. My son (8) had a great time and it was very well organised. He is going to be a mascot at gibraltar game, but if not i would probably hold off buying a ticket as he plays football for a syfa registered team and i would hope they would use this resource for some ofvthe tickets.

  12. Great afternoon indeed. I was at the holland game earlier in the week and had booked the same bus company for wembley, but they contacted at the last minute to say they had cancelled the bus and i had to get the train at last minute. On arrival in trafalger square i bumped into folks i used to work with in stirling council. The half time was incredible and has never been bettered at any other scotland game i have attended. Just a pity thete was no you tube back in the day to capture it. Pity about the 90 mins around halftime.
