fringo
Getting good reviews on TV too. Fans also chanting his name during the game.
ScottyAlba
Good to see he's doing well with Everton, I've always rated Naismith
Robroysboy
Last season i was on this message board saying he needed a move and wouldnt be a regular starter at goodison. He has proved wrong and he doe not look out of place in arguably the best league in the world.
ZoltanBuchan
When my Evertonian boss asked me about Naismith when they signed him, my reply was along the lines of "10 games a season, mostly from the bench, certain starter in the League Cup". Well...delighted to be proved utterly wrong on that one That said, he has undoubtedly moved up a level since leaving Rangers, especially under Martinez. ZoltanBuchan
He was pash the one time I saw him at Pittodrie for your lot as well
WeLuvIrnBru
He was poor in the last 2 Scotland games (goal apart). However, he fully deserves to be in the team based on his club form. And 1 goal in 2 games when not playing particularly well is a good sign. I just wish that his first touch was better - he would almost be a world beater if it was. For such a wee guy, he is fabulous in the air.
Squirrelhumper
He was pash the one time I saw him at Pittodrie for your lot as well Think I missed one game he played in his full Killie career. He carried that team at times.
ParisInAKilt
Didn't think he was at his best in the recent games, kinda shows the level we expect from him considering he still contributed with a goal and general all round play. A definite starter now.
PASTA Mick
We need to continue with him playing just behind Fletcher though.
davew
Quite excited at the prospect of an on-form Naismith and an on-form Fletcher lining up against Ireland. By reckoning Naismith now has 6 goals from 12 starts this season, and Fletcher has 4 from 8.
Caledonian Craig
Also it is worth pointing out this is a pretty new partnership is it not? I can't recall (before this campaign) Naismith and Fletcher lining up together. Hopefully, their understanding will grow and the partnership will become potent for Scotland. Parklife
Probably one of the best forwards in Europe. After all, he plays for the might Everton.
Bannannan
Obviously a certain starter and rightly so,but nevertheless I was disappointed at his lack of adventure against Georgia, too many lay offs, mostly backwards, instead of a one on one now and again.Just my opinion that he could be even better,I completely agree he should be ,along with Broon, the first name on the team sheet. Caledonian Craig
well I was nodding in agreement until your last 5 words Agreed. That might of been the case about five years ago but not any longer. In Europe the Bundesliga, Serie 'A' and La Liga are stronger.

Robroysboy
well I was nodding in agreement until your last 5 words Thats why I said arguably, probually deserves a thread of its own! The english premier league teams no longer dominate the champions league, so from that point of view it is debatable.
davew
Agreed. That might of been the case about five years ago but not any longer. In Europe the Bundesliga, Serie 'A' and La Liga are stronger. According to the UEFA country rankings it's: Spain (by some margin) England a fraction better than Germany Then Italy a distant fourth. Caledonian Craig
Robroysboy I don't think it is even open for debate. No EPL club has even made the final of the Champions League in the last two years and no winners or finalists in the Europa League in even more years than that. That is the acid proof.
