I was looking at booking it for about 10pm-ish it only takes about an hour and a half so was going to see what the night life in Ljubljana was like. I've not booked it or anything, I'm still trying to sort my travel from Riga into Vilnius out!

I think I'm on that flight to Trieste from Stansted on the 7th. I was looking at a transfer company called Go Opti - airport transfer direct from Trieste airport into Ljubljana was about £29. Saves messing about way trains and buses etc.

I think I'm in Riga on the 30th, was planning on flying to Vilnius on the 31st but haven't sorted out the travelling to there yet but was looking at the bus as a last option.

Group of us in the Comfort Inn near Heathrow.... bit of a trek into central London, think my 'free' uber credit will be getting used!!

I know, there seems to be 3 or 4 different groups on Facebook and constant name changes etc so don't know whats going on there but I defo won't be getting caught out like that again!

I was majorly pissed off at the time and to be honest it has scunnered me a bit. I was lucky enough to end up in a pub way other guys that were in the same position as me and a end up having a great night, but that doesn't detract from travelling 1400 odd miles to watch the game in a pub! If I had known before hand that there may have been an issue way the travel I'd have sorted an alternative route, such as working out nearest train station n times etc but if you pay someone for a service you don't expect to then get left stranded. But as a said, I won't be making that mistake again!

Nope, never got a refund and haven't heard from the person involved. From what I've seen on Facebook it was the bus companies fault, but that doesn't make up for travelling to Slovakia and then having to watch the game in a pub after paying for a bus in the first place. But lesson learned, won't be getting caught out like that again!

By the time we got told the bus wasn't coming it was too late, the other buses had left n a had no idea where the station was anyway. If you pay for a place on a bus you should be able to assume that it will at least turn up or you'll get a bit of notice if its cancelled so you can make other plans

Aye, a was supposed to be on bus 8. Got wrist band etc from the steward and waited way a group of boys from Aberdeen n Dundee (I think) in the pissing rain outside the Crown Plaza then after the other buses left we got told bus 8 wasn't coming. We were too late to make the trip so went to the pub n watched it. Gutted.

LOL I couldn't get holidays to stay longer, gutted - supposed to be some decent bars near the hotel as well!

Same here, but only there Monday and Tuesday
