Tartan blood
For anyone who watches victory shield football closely - Ali Coote was on the bench for Dundee Utd today vs Celtic for the first time. Think he is only 16 still so great to see them bringing through yet another promising youngsterI watched him last year, and he was the best player in the Scotland team. Along with Calvin Miller, who will unfortunately have to wait a but longer to break through, due to the fact he plays for Celtic.

adamntg
Ali Coote is the first graduate of the Performance School that United and Ian Cathro set up at St Johns. Hopefully the first of a new breed.

ProudScot
Swansea have definitely been watching him most weeks. They love a young scottish player which I think is good for us as the EPL development league is no doubt a really good step on the ladder for guys like Kingsley, Fulton and King. Interesting to see what happens there then...
Hertsscot
Johnny Russell could become a very handy wee busybody kind of player for Scotland. I'd give him a go against Northern Ireland and Gibraltar. Ikechi Anya got an assist for Watford. Ross McCormack scored for Fulham. Jack Grimmer is also getting a regular game for Fulham now which is great. Likewise Liam Cooper appears to be a regular for Leeds. Two young defenders to consider anyway Nice to see Grimmer getting a few games for Fulham, I think he made his debut when they got absolutley thumped so I feared the worst. We could do with another long term option at right back and he was certianly promising at Aberdeen.
Robroysboy
Looking forward into 2015, cant wait to see robert snodgrass back for hull and pyshing for his scotland place back. Would be great to see him available for poland and germany home games plus georgia away. Such an important player for us last campaign with key goals in the wins against croatia. ProudScot
Scott Allan looking quality for Hibs - Handling and Cummings looking good too. Kennedy gets 5 mins - EPL development league surely would be better than that run out!

Great result for scottish football, a home grown team full of hunger and youth soundly beating a team of foreign mercenaries and over paid journeymen. Eastiebeastie
Can't be many more creative Scottish central midfielder's than Scott Allan. What a future he has if he stays fit and on form.

What a future he has if he stays fit and on form.Big difference playing against posties, plumbers and joiners than top level pros. I'll wait until he proves he can cut it against the big boys although I accept he's young.
