Parklife
I'm having a weekend in Aviemore soon and would be good to get some advice on things to do (group of guys) in the area and pubs/restaurants to visit or avoid. Anyone familiar with the area and able to advise? Cheers

Parklife
Parky is it a stag do? loads to do if you want activities. Nah, not a stag. It's just a weekend of drinking. The folk going are pretty sedentary, so the only activities they'd be interested in are ones which require little effort...

Parkie theres an Indian restaruant just as you come inot the town which someone told me was very good. you need to book it apparently as it gets so busy. they've_been_suckered
Caringorm brewery tour is a short walk away. Theres a great wee pub called the old bridge inn too, open fire etc... its excellent edit - Scotbet is the only bookies so be prepared to do an old school 1-2-x signal is poor in aviemore for 3G/4G. All the pubs in the area are pretty good Edited May 14, 2015 by they've_been_suckered
