I assume he's at Rangers and has played about 12 games at SPFL Championship level? Ryan Jack has: - Played 180 games for AFC at a consistently high level - Played in Europe - Previously been involved in Scotland Squad It's the Rangers arrogance to suggest someone most folk haven't heard of is in any way comparable though. I'd expect it to have a release clause, as long as it's over £1 million, then i won't be too disappointed. Long may he continue to play well as it helps our game. I think McInnes said something along the lines of Jack being the 2nd best midfielder in Scotland, after Scott Brown, earlier this season. Can't really argue with that. He's possibly slipped under the radar a bit because he not a 'highlights player', and does the majority of his work in the 1st two-thirds of the pitch.
