They are weapons that personally I feel are immoral in their retention and certainly would be in their use.From a military point of view it can also be argued that they are a very expensive white elephant. Strangely for the BBC, every vox pop they found to interview thought renewing trident was a great idea, bar one man who sounded slightly ambivalent: "it'll keep lots of jobs in the area but at what cost?"
