Ally Bongo
Tom Newton Dunn @tnewtondunn 2h A very big name is coming out in favour of #NoThanks at midnight. AberdeenAngus
Applying Eddard's 'wisdom' this should move the lefties to YES then.
thewelk
His natural home is on the No side. Lets face it.
northernscum
Good, the NO campaign are welcome to that diseased piece of shit. No doubt Blair McDougall will go on a retweeting frenzy on twitter over this. The Murdoch regime will be the kingpin of all that is good in journalism
brant grebner
The Sun should come with a free self-sterilization kit - a broken beer bottle and some rusty nails. Anyone who buys, reads or even smells a copy of it should stop it immediately and do something nice instead.
King Of Paisley
Might not be necessarily be Murdoch. Obama?
Ally Bongo
Might not be necessarily be Murdoch. Obama? Cant see it. Not after he has said its a matter for the people of Scotland I cant think of anyone else that would make much of a difference and would the Sun coming out for No at this late stage be able to compete with the surge to Yes in the last week ? King Of Paisley
Well, we all heard Cameron repeatedly refusing to engage with Eck with similar rhetoric to Obama. Didn't stop him wading into the debate this week at this late stage. Wouldn't be surprised if Obama weighed in given the threat to Trident. I can't see it myself, but nothing surprises me in this campaign any more.

Jacobite
What'll they do ,have a front page with a big noose on it telling folk to vote no.
Westy
Sir Alex? He's been unusually quiet in this whole debate so far...
HIGHTOWER 1314
Not only is he an ex manc manager he is also a no.
King Of Paisley
Jacobite - I was thinking the same thing there myself mate. Did the Sun not carry a front page prior to the last Scottish election with a hangman's noose in the shape of the SNP emblem? Didn't prevent a landslide SNP victory. Westy
Yep aware he's a no but I've not seen anything from him yet. Don't even think he was in the football list they released the other week... Although in all honesty it's probably Murdoch
Ormond
Midnight being what 7pm in the USA? If he does he's a bigger than I thought. Only on the East side of the States. I'm Central time and I am 6 hours behind.
King Of Paisley
No point in getting all het up about this. Far too late in any event for either side. I think most people's minds will be made up now. A last ditch attempt by a buckled Australian will not cow working class Scots.
adonisfaelivi
Is Murdoch such a big name? A name that certainly divides opinion, half hate him the other half can't stand him. No great loss IMO if its true but can see a drop - off in his circulation numbers if he does so.
