  1. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41539068 How is Fletcher a 7 when he gave a away the free-kick and then didn't mark his man for the incoming cross for their first goal? As much as I like the guy, the number of times his marking at set-pieces has cost us goals in big games is so frustrating. He's jobby at that aspect.
  2. Myself and 3 others may well be there as we've just realised none of us have Sky Sports now
  3. Hope he drops Phillips and Forrest. Both can beat a man but that is literally it. For Scotland neither has shown an end product or can defend at all. I'd probably bring in Snodgrass and Anya Oh and I'd swap Bannan and Morrison around.
  4. Forrest and Phillips need to get pumped out the starting line-up. Certainly both playing together is too much of a liability
  5. Excellent. Cheers gents
  6. I'm very likely going to be in Chicago on the day of the England game. Anybody know where would be good to watch it? And also any other recommendations of things to do/see would be terrific. Thanks
  7. My main observations were: - Strachan talked in interviews beforehand about how Lithuania are pressing teams high up the park and that they'd do that to us. Then why did we not adjust our game plan or formation beforehand to get around this? We just played the exact same setup as we did against Malta which must have made it easy for Lithuania to study and plan how to play against us. Going 4-4-2 from the start would have had them on the back foot. - defensive and attacking midfielders were miles apart - final balls were terrible - Patterson looked a bit out his depth to me. Not awful at the back but not comfortable enough with passing and going forward. - Chris Martin gives us nothing. Not his fault but he needs dropped immediately - Not sure Burke suits our style of play. Would have preferred Naismith, Maloney or Morrison. Although I guess he offers same sort of thing as Anya. To be fair I've never seen anyone as quick as Burke last night. - Atmosphere was worst in my memory. And on a Saturday night. Not that it was really our fault as first half so flat. That's probably the only home game I'll make it to this campaign.
  8. exactly. I'd say the draw is somewhere in the middle in terms of toughness. Much easier than our current euros group
  9. Love how much it means to Scott Brown celebrating that goal
  10. Heading there in December with girlfriend for 12 nights. Where is good that isn't full of wallopers? Preferably beaches/islands but also open to other suggestions
  11. True. No way are they out. Would be stupid given what's happened in the group so far to write Eire off. But I think its still much more in our favour even if we took 1 point from next 2 games. Though only just
  12. Good post but I think it's unlikely (though not impossible) we'll draw in Georgia AND lose to Poland Even if we drew both those games it would be Poland - 18 Ireland - 15 Scotland - 13 You'd have to win your last game away to Poland
  13. Wow i must have had too many beers in Dortmund. We did win didn't we?
  14. We lost in Germany with it on
