  1. Hi,

Please get in touch regarding your replacement badge.

    Kevin

  2. Bought one on the the LA website at the end of September but it never arrived. Sent a couple of emails but no reply. Are they available?
  3. Checked Saturday trains from Paris Est. 1540 TGV now cancelled too. Only Saturday trains that will get there from Paris in time now seem to be 1340 which I'm luckily booked on and 1740. Sunday trains from Metz back to Paris Est haven't been updated yet to reflect the strike but the train time I booked for has been cancelled the past few days so I expect it will be cancelled on Sunday too. Megabus tickets from Metz to Paris still available for a tenner. Just booked one as it looks like it'll be my only hope of getting back to Paris in time for my plane. Normally I check the web for team news running up to the game - this time it's only been the Air France and SNCF websites to see whether I'll even get there. Really hope the team realise how many hurdles this game is putting in front of us and put in a performance.
  4. Never been in the home end at an away game and wondered the same. I was thinking about a glengarry/France jersey/kilt fusion. Hopefully that will be maths the folk at the turnstiles can't be bothered doing.
  5. Cheers for the advice but already booked now through Paris Est. Got in early doors and trains were cheap as chips so I booked a cheap ticket for the later train to Metz too in case I missed the early one. I can call myself a harvester now.
  6. Looking for a bit of advice from anyone that knows about transfer times from the airport. I get in to Charles de Gaulle at 1150 from Glasgow on the day of the game. There's a TGV from Paris Est to Metz at 1340 - will that be enough time to make the Metz TGV? I know it's about half an hour on the train from the airport to Paris Nord but I don't know how long it takes to get out the airport, to the airport train station, walk between stations in Paris city centre, etc. If it's a bit tight I'll book the next TGV and find a pub for an hour and a half.
  7. Argentina friendly 1990,1-0, Stewart McKimmie. Totally engrained in my memory. I already loved seeing Queens games at the old Hampden when I was wee but it was something else to see it packed out. Watching Scotland for the first time instead of jealously having to put up with just seeing the floodlights and watching all the traffic crawling past my window heading there at night. Brilliant.
  8. May I be controversial? If you're at Sauchihall/top of Hope St get on at Cowcaddens. A wee golden nugget of a station folk forget about. It's nice. Then go via Kelvinbridge.
  9. Arrived today! Nice wee pictures on the back of things you can't bring - guns, knives, syringes, laser pens. It also looks as if blocks of cheese and council tax bills are banned...
  10. National anthem lyrics always have been and always will be a sensitive issue. Bosnia, Kosovo and San Marino have no lyrics but are no less passionate than us. Neither does the Spanish anthem yet the Marcha Real goes down well (remember you could have heard a pin drop at Hampden four years ago). How about Highland Cathedral without lyrics, like it was originally written?
  11. I hear that 'We could have been anything that we wanted to be' from Bugsy Malone is being sent to us from Westminster as our new anthem.
  12. Just got an email from SSC saying tickets go on sale from noon tomorrow for the RoI and England home games - exactly when the window opens for two pointers to try and get a Warsaw ticket. Have they suddenly invested in new IT or are they intentionally trying to crash their website?
